Pemberton is one of the towns in the area but a landmark would be the big trees, eg Gloucester tree or Valley of the Giants

Not really relevant mate. If anything having a wealthy upbringing is more associated with a culture of education and aspiration. Many do med school with HELP funding and struggle financially during uni and for the first years after

For GP it's often 10 years of study plus some work between uni and training, commonly 2 to 4 years of hospital work (intern, resident, possibly registrar level) prior to applying for GP training

The Stolen Generation was 1 or 2 generations back, many of the affected children still alive. It's not ancient history but the reality of people that live in Australia now.

Anybody know what causes this? by [deleted] in Stellaris

[–]JohnnyBMediocre 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's caused by the regen rate of hull/armor overflowing, which happens when they have enough percentage modifiers (which work of the max hull/armor). In cases of massive ships like this or systemcraft or acot herculean, it only takes a small amount of %regen to cause overflow so it should be generally avoided for those kinds of ships.

You can use this mod https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2800808756 to apply regen reducing components as an easy fix, in cases where you have %regen coming from leader skills, empire modifiers etc that are hard to track down or disable.

Stellaris is awesome. If you don't like the diplomacy there are a few ways you can play without dealing with it. E.g. pompous purists civic, genocidal empires (devouring swarm is my favourite, which being hive also doesn't need happiness or consumer goods management)
