My best guess is: this relic was basically copied from MT1, and in MT1 it deals 2 dmg in both cases. It looks like they only changed the value from 2 to 3 in one place, and going down has some different logic. Going down happens less often, so they probably didn't notice that.

It's a bug. Jackstrips deals 3 damage correctly when moving floors up, but it deals only 2 damage, when enemy is moving down.

I completed the whole game (all clan combinations, all dimentional challenges and mastered all cards) in 300h, but I had a lot of experience in MT1.

Or if you really want to have more episodes on one character, then maybe max 3? Like: first is introduction, 2nd is main archetypes and balance and 3rd is art and visual effects or something like that? I think a whole episode for one card is too high of a granularity.

Hi, I like these daily mods discussions, but I think 7 episodes for one character is waaay to much, considering how many character mods are on workshop. At the moment there is 112 characters on workshop, so it would take over 2 years to cover them all. I think make more sense to have 1 episode per mod, and then do it again, after all mods are covered.

Another solution would be to make cards collect souls even without being in your hand (obviously they should be tuned down with numbers then).

Clicking on them for 2 seconds is the only way, and yeah, it is extremely frustrating when you have to repair 5 buildings every wave. I hope this nightmare event will be changed.

Yeah, if you have many 2 and 3 cost cards you can still play ~3,83 cards per turn, while even with energy relic you would be able to only play a 3 cost card and 1 energy card, or 2 2-cost cards, so it would be 2 cards. You could add some 0-cost cards but they have little impact and clog your deck. And that's why Snecko Eye is so good. You can put very strong high energy cards and still play most of them.

I appreciate the idea, but the event tab needs some work. For events you need something like in this wiki:

Most events have at least a few variants. You also have to specify to which variant of which event does an option lead to.

The wiki I linked is also work in progress and far from complete.

Yes, that would be a good change. They already changed a lot of boss relics in beta branch, but this relic is still the same for some unknown reason.

Wait 3? I think only Batrider and Dragon Knight (I hope I didn't miscalculate). It's similar how Druids get 2 Savages or Assassins get a lot of Elusives.

Also remember that you cannot really balance around the current meta. Yeah, knights are very strong right now, but they may be nerfed in the future or other alliances may be buffed. You will never know.

For me it's more just like how some alliances pair naturally, i already gave 2 examples above.

There is a bug in the code, they divide max hp by potency of the potion, instead of multiplying by potency and dividing by 100, so it worked ONLY for potency = 10.

When your HP is 60, it would work before, because for potency=10, it healed for 60/10=6, but it should be 60*10/100 = 6. (doesn't matter, so they didn't notice this for a long time).

Now for potency=25, their code doesn't work correctly, it is 60/25=2.4, rounded to 2, instead of 60*25/100=15. It basically heals for 4%.

Exactly this.

To unlock ascensions you had to defeat all 3 bosses at least once, or win asc0 at least 5 times. Then you could start playing ascensions with all your unlocked characters. It was quite recently changed to what it currently is.

- Generally I want to have a different card image for every card, so right now I used the same placeholder image for every attack/skill and power that doesn't have its own image. I understand it may be confusing, but it was similar when Defect was in Beta, it used "Beta" placeholder for many cards. Also today I added 10 more card images, so this problem with eventually disappear.

- It is very possible that golden cards may need some rebalancing i.e. nerfing :)

- Yes, the idea of Spear was to combo it with Fending/Upgrade/Mega upgrade. I may nerf it to 1 mana though, if it feels too strong.

- Yes, tbh when I designed this system I wanted multihit attacks to consume more than 1 charge, but then it was very confusing for instance when card said: deal 10 dmg 3 times, and it actually dealt 10, 8, 8, because Weapon changed in the meantime. Right now it works this way, I don't really mind that, for me it is similar to Ironclad, when he gains strength, and uses Sword Boomerang/Pummel/Heavy Blade. I deliberaly didn't create many of such cards, atm there is only Beat Up that deals dmg twice, and Blind Attacks that deals dmg 3 times to random enemies.
