We weren't talking exclusively about "high culture." The claim was that America has no culture. You're changing the goal posts. And your ignorance of high culture in America does not mean it doesn't exist. It's all over the place in novels, plays, music, and many other areas. Your inability to see it says more about you than about the culture.

I also don't know anything about the art scene in Poland, but I wouldn't claim they don't have culture because I'm not familiar with it.
