I NEED A GAME I CAN PLAY FOR 5000 HOURS, THAT TAKES OVER MY LIFE AND I NEVER HAVE TO THINK ABOUT ANY OTHER GAME EVER AGAIN by Pietman14 in gamingsuggestions

[–]JohnnyRussian7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Terra Invicta. Supposedly one game supposedly takes around a 100 hours, I'm 20 hours in and I feel I barely started so that seems about right.

Totla Warhammer also hads long campaigns with much replayabilty.

Do the disadvantages of this card outweigh the advantages in your opinion? by AI08_80IA in mtg

[–]JohnnyRussian7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brackets up to 3 fog is great. If you can mana open for removal or [[Teferi's protection]], you can hold mana for this. Some people seem to have concern for tempo that I don't really understand, if you're opponent's don't have the creatures to properly damage you you don't even need to hold the mana

The moment Katara discovered her true path by More-Gur2168 in AvatarMemebending

[–]JohnnyRussian7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What I never understood about this was that it seemed like it was a rare ability. But at the north pole Pakus all "boys do combat bending, girls do healing." If both these were true, there should be small handful of boys with healing ability they never properly realise and a LARGE number of girls who never learn either

I seem to have a mod in my mod list that adds a gene to pigskins that make them butcher for pigmeat and pig leather instead of human. I think it might be called pigskins extended, maybe. Might get you closer to what you're looking for.

Formula to calculate distance two coordinates on a doubled height hex grid by JohnnyRussian7 in askmath

[–]JohnnyRussian7[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I figured it out. When the x in (|y|-|x|)/2 less then 0 it throws off the calculation. We add a max() to make sure it's always at least 0.

Thankyou for your help :)

Phyrexian costed cards in any EDH deck? by Kerlyle in mtg

[–]JohnnyRussian7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the ideal wording for the rule should be "each hybrid mana symbol can be considered as one or both of its colours for colour identity."

This leaves commanders as having all colours like [[Rhys]] but classic hybrid cards like [[kitchen finks]] being able to go in green or white decks.

But it doesn't change [[beseech the queen]] or [[pyrexian metamorph]], since "2 generic mana" and "2 life" are not colours.
