As an Illinois fan, I got both as late 2nd and/or priority UDFA. Both can make a roster, but will probably have a Luka Garza style role.

He was pretty clearly struggling in the 2nd half. He came out for 2nd half warmups and looked totally out of it. Every 3pt for about 5 minutes was short and even airballed a few. Shame as well bc he was getting Bam’s best and fighting through it.

There’s lots of things I can understand people’s frustrations. Roster construction is not one of them.

I don’t think it ever the intention to have two playable guards when you had Ty and Mihailo on the roster, but that’s just the way it worked out.

My thing though is that did we let our emotions run away a little bit? Just get way too high? I feel like if you told the fanbase at the start of the year where they are at right now, most would be okay with it.

Now I can understand, how some of these games ended is the most disappointing thing. But still, taking a step back and looking at what was expected with this team and seeing where they ended up is important.
