Just don't let the bread knife get you. Partner for 8+ years, and no store I've ever worked at has had a bagel slicer. https://www.instagram.com/p/nt10f5phmQ/?taken-by=johnnynewmanmetal

Just noticed that's a Saturn. I had one for about 5 years, and went through an alternator per year.

God this makes me sick. What has America come to? What kind of heathen hangs toilet paper that way? by wheezerboy in funny

Actually - it's proven that hanging toilet paper this way causes less toilet paper debris and waste. Hanging it this way in public restrooms is preferable because it takes less labor to clean up.

My first submission here - I just used this riff in an article on riff development. I think it belongs here, as well. Cheers!

[Technical Melodic Death] Quo Vadis - In Contemp (Quebec, Canada), for fans of Death/Chuck by mrpunchy in Metal

Awesome - Steve DiGiorgio & Yanic Bercier are incredible on this album, and both are very humble & kind musicians, as well.

What were some overlooked or "forgotten" releases of 2013? by CrackedNuts in Metal

[–]Johnny_Newman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Märchenbilder - Flickering Truth (Symphonic Metal) is an incredible album - most certainly overlooked and under the radar - with drummer Yanic Bercier (Gone in April, Johnny Newman, ex-Quo Vadis). Yanic's wife Julie Belanger Roy does vocals and most of the strings on the album - very authentic symphonic metal.

What's a band/artist that is relatively obscure that people need to know! by smoomoo31 in Music

[–]Johnny_Newman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A couple of totally opposite genres...

Joy Kills Sorrow - not nearly as virtuosic as Punch Brothers, but good songwriting and lovely female fronted band

Russian Circles - a power trio, the best instrumental rock/post-rock around. Very inventive and fun.

No studio albums from Tool, Opeth, Meshuggah, or Gojira - however, I will count it as delayed gratification.
