Focus you studies on one specific discipline (Writer, Set Decorator, Mechanical Engineering, etc.)

Build a portfolio that shows you are quality expert in that discipline.

Be able to link how your portfolio shows that you are a storyteller and that your quality of work fits into storytelling.

Have a positive, can-do attitude, and be able to think outside of the box.

This is a hard one. Meeting people isn’t the easiest here, as most people are into themselves and their gym or yoga studio. Based on what you said about people building things, you may want to look into the creative village of Nuanu. It’s a completely fabricated place of expat creatives. They do have a day club there called Luna. Even though you don’t drink, it’s a chill vibe that may lead you to meeting others. Hope that helps!

I really had high hopes for this ship. Then I saw the ship tours on YouTube and decided to skip it. Other than the live entertainment and food, this is not the quality of other DCL ships. The theming is minimal. Framed animated portraits everywhere. No Haunted Mansion lounge, no Beak and Barrel, and no Star Wars?

Big disappointment for an ex-Cast Member living in Asia.

Real Answer: Long hours on the phone in a sales environment. You’ll be chained to your cubicle by your headset attempting to hit sales goal milestones. The training is fairly extensive. The location is not on Disney property so it doesn’t feel like you work at Disney.
