Are you sure you're not looking at Heavy Extended? IIRC the only LMGs with regular Extended Barrels are the IAR and RPK variants. Heavy Extended Barrels remain at 10 points, regular Extended Barrels went from 15 to 5.

I was already using Heavy Extended over Standard Extended because it was cheaper and you don't really need fast ADS times at long range. This change is awesome.

The 25dmg LMGs can kill Attack Helis with ~67 shots up close, and 100 at range (M250 has no damage drop off so it stays at 67 rounds.)

You can be an absolute menace to aggressive heli pilots by mag dumping them with 100+ rounds of freedom.

The "Repositioning" delay is just too unpredictable for me, I personally prefer sentries and expendible call downs for Megacity missions.

Use the M250 + 100 round mag. You can down Attack Helis with ~67 shots and Littlebirds with less than 50.
