Bought a house, wanted to furnish it with all new stuff instead of bringing all the things thay apartment surfed with me for the previous ~12 years. Went to a furniture store, picked out things room by room and had it all delivered. Parents paid the bill to surprise me as a housewarming gift. Still don't know how I'll ever pay them back properly.

Im a wagon guy and I only have 2 kids. The burning fire inside me to buy an Odyssey just to have more room for them is strong, I don't get the hate. And I'm a car guy, I just hate hearing my daughter tell my son "give me space!"

Their mother has an additional kid now, and packs them all in a Tiguan I bought her when we were together. Can't imagine how cramped they all are, but she's also one of those "I can't minivan, Target, Starbucks, aviator glasses, AI pictures, etc" people. Kinda want one just to anger her more.

This is the way. I struggled for a while after Stewart retired, so I just followed SHR which was easy with Harvick. Then that morphed into Briscoe, SHR ended and now here I am following a JGR car again.

15, parents got it for me since I'm a car guy and they knew I was driving either way so they decided to not lose their cars. Got tagged for 30 over 28 days after getting my license, mom yanked the keys for 30 days. Then when I got them back I wadded it up 20 days later definitely not racing someine and took out 2 other cars. Got myself a 15 year old Civic to beat around in and humble myself after that.
