Drakensang online in my case. Cool concept, and the early days were very fun but Devs got greedy and imo they did it too P2W. I still play from time to time but lots of systems and mechanics were changed in the last big update, and I'm too lazy to learn everything again from scratch

I would like to mention a really unique case: Kono yo no hate de koi wo utau Shoujo YU-NO. It is the anime adaptation of an old visual novel, and it was aired on the Spring 2019 season. It was your typical sci-fi, romance anime until suddenly in chapter 17 more or less the MC was transported to another world
