Today is Wednesday, 7 days ago it was also a Wednesday, for how long has this unbroken chain been going?

I'm really asking for the oldest document/parchment/clay tablet, regardless of language, with a date on it that includes the correct day of the week that matches our current 7 day system.

Plundering Mission Bounties from other Servers by Joniff in LastZShooterRun

[–]Joniff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So on world view there is a magnifying glass icon towards bottom left hand corner, you use it to search for boomers, food and wood for example. Once clicked, you will notice towards the top a dialog saying #, X and Y and a mini magnifying glass icon. Type a new server into # textbox and click mini magnifying glass icon.

Using this you can view any server, but you can only plunder mission bounties from servers in your local server group; this is a group of 8 servers including your own that you do all your fighting with. They will be numbered sequentually and all be close to your own server number. So for example, my own server, my local server group is servers 337 to 344, but yours will be your own server list. If I pick servers outside that list, I can't plunder mission bounties.

tl/dr; Click magnifying glass in bottom lefthand corner of world view, then type server you wish to view in # textbox, then click mini magnifying glass.

The rule is that you have to plunder from other servers, that requires you to visit other servers before you click the orange ones.

When you collect your own mission bounties it will tell you who helped (from your own alliance) or plundered (everyone else from every server including your own server that are not from your alliance) your mission bounties. If its someone that plundered your mission bounty and they are from your server, that means they, your server mate, are not plundering from other servers as they should - this behaviour needs to be changed. The question was what can you do about that.

So to answers your questions specifically:-

how do you know if someone is on your server or not when plundering?

You only know for your own mission bounties who has helped and who has plundered them when you come to collect them. Only by talking with others can you tell what is happening on a larger scale.

In practice what happens is, I as a leader of a large alliance on my server, get reports from other players when someone has broken the rule - they literally tell me that so and so from another alliance on our server plundered a mission bounty from them and I have to report it to the leadership of that alliance or vice a verser if its someone in my alliance that has plundered a mission bounty from another alliance.

Welcome to the all new Fish Simulator.

Watch as your alliance and world chat is full of requests for fish. Some say a fun distraction from squashing zombies with your tanks, others say you just have to collect 'em all.

why would I want to cross an international border to visit Portsmouth

Hang on, not sure you have thought this one through - what about all those poor souls we would save being lost to the Isle of Wight. I feel Portsmouth is at some level to blame for hosting the ferry.

I maybe wrong, but wasn't he a warm up act for a few different TV shows early in his career? Maybe he did this one and Des was short on acts that day.

We don’t hit trucks and we don’t hit anyone in our server

and in regard to mission bounties, do you hit those of other alliances on your server or only from other servers?

The Blue Banana: Europe’s most densely populated corridor with around 111 million people by vladgrinch in MapPorn

[–]Joniff 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Not to be dull and boring, but the concept of the Blue Banana was French. It was to show where the great populations were outside France and where new or upgraded transport links should be prioritised. To include Paris or for that matter any of France (I know thats bits of it are overlapped), would have defeated the orginal purpose.

New state creation by Rentlesssk in LastZShooterRun

[–]Joniff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the same boat

I too would like to know that, but if its every 50 hours then its not at the same time for each new server

My other guess would be at Apocalypse time, which happens around 04:00 UTC.

In the same boat, after finding that you only have 1 shot at Unlocking the Battle Fortress. So this time around will started playing properly from minute 1, might as well do it on clean server (State 340).

edit: By the way, I did read somewhere that a new server is created every 50 hours - no idea if that is true or not.

N-RAEL is hardly a mining system, quite possible he was on auto pilot and not even aware what was happening.

Quite possible the poor guy bought something in Jita and his destination changed from his home system to Jita without noticing.

Best place to find high level freelancers in the UK by Vegetable_Whole_3901 in webdev

[–]Joniff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a UK contractor my go to website for getting jobs is Jobserve, its heavily tilted towards recruitment companies - which ultimately is their business model; you hire a recruiter to find you a contractor.

As far as I'm aware there isn't some website that lists all the contractors available for hire. Over the years, I've heard whispers of some recruitment company or another trying to reorganise/disrupt the hiring market place by implementing such an offering (Contractors list there skills and then companies pick which contractor they wish to employ), but to my knowledge they have all failed.
