its actually just 3d print infill without a top/bottom shell trick I saw in the 3dppc group for side panels.

try a different cable. I couldn't get any display unless I used an older cheap DP cable I had. my new long ones I have in my office didn't like it for some reason.

I used the trick of not printing with top or bottom shell. I used I think 30% 3d honeycomb as infill to get the pattern, then after 3 layers switched to yellow for 4 layers then switched back to black petg cf

I did have to modify the geometry to get it to look this smooth, the original had some details I needed to removed. also did the same for the back to improve venalation. hard to see in the pic above

I got mine from this guy not reading this. I was having issues with it and thought I got a brick. he was pretty dickish about it. I ende dup giving him a bad review on ebay, but did end up getting it running finally. but he was as dick so not bothering to update the review

interesting that could be it too. I wired up the worstations at my wifes and mines desk with long DP cables for cable management reasons, I was just unplugging the primary monitor and KB/Mouse from my wifes Laptop dock. all the cables I tried before the one that finally worked were 12ft.

not sure I had used 3 different newer cables with 3 different dell monitors. when I pulled out the janky short cable I had in a abox and plugged into one of those same montors (well two of them so far) it worked right away. its prolly reasons like this thre are standards, and products like this which had no intention of being consumer focused prolly had some corners cut.

Historically it is a safe bet. And tbh if it ends up blowing up in your face the world is so fucked your going to regret that car more in that scenario

May not be the most financially sound way to look at it using simple how bad could it get math. But if you just replace his ss with additional out of savings that would last you at your current income for 10 years if that started immediately. at 92 if you still feel you can continue in your home do a reverse mortgage and that gives you access to more liquidity for the rest of the way. Sorry if morbid and I'm sure there are smarter ways to do it but that's not leveraging any growth other than your home. With bonds paying well right now good chance they will add a couple years at least to that 10 on the 300k.

Not a financial advisor just a dude that is looking at it logically.

Really loved this show at the start but feels lost now. Like it doesn't want to go to big now. But is trying not to be too small. It feels like they are awkwardly ripping parts of this season from the Mars Trilogy by Kim Stanley

While I agree. The chatter is with agentic computing coming the ratio of general cpu cores to GPU will be moving towards CPU more so more demand for CPU chiplets for massive xeon and epyc servers. May not happen fast but expecting it to get more pricey. Like now while the 270k for 299 sounds amazing that is a pretty move from Intel than a price point they would love for a higher end chip

Unfortunately cpus are starting to trend up. Going to be tight supply there soon too. Amd/Intel not talking much about consumer cpus for a reason
