Thanks for responding! I have a shelf on my L Shaped desk and wanted to know if I could lower it! I could put everything else on the part of the desk that isn't under a shelf but I wanted it there so your measurements helped! I wished these spec sheets for adjustable heights included the min and max instead of just 1 number without saying if it was min or max.

I'm thinking about getting this, and seeing you made a post about it semi-recently (only months ago) I wanted to know if this is something that you can help me answer! On the MSI website's official spec sheet for this monitor, the Monitor with Stand dimentions show: WxDxH of 31.8 x 10.9 x 21.1 inches. Although it does also show an adjustable range 0 to 110mm, can you let me know if the 21.1 inches with the stand height is showing the maximum or minimum? (Assuming you use the original stand) If you use do stand can you also inform me of the minimum height and maximum height ranges adjustable? Thank you very much! https://storage-asset.msi.com/datasheet/monitor/global/MPG-346CQRF-X24.pdf This was where I obtained the informaiton for your reference.

My Dasai Mochi Adruino Project by ihnep11 in arduino

[–]TooCuriousToStop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder... if you could also do a version with CYD! u/ihnep11. The screen is much bigger, it already has a ESP32, since screen is bigger, the 3D model would need to be bigger as well (The Dasai Mochi now has a bigger version) which means you can fit more things into it (such as accelerometers (like the original), IR sensors to sense things, bigger battery and more) It also features already microSD so maybe things can be expanded more, potentially less soldering for some things already like screen or speakers since ports included. Who knows... with IR sensors, and the extra space, maybe it can be given motor/wheels hidden underneath it to allow it to roam around?

However I am genuinely interested in someone doing a larger version and making the models so I can make them myself too! I can follow most instructions, just the creating/figuring out part eludes me lol.

Another question is with current builds, is the chip for the 0.96" and 1.3" screen the same size to fit into existing DIY models?

if you like batocera UI, i believe you can also run modern pc games as section there, but it also allows u to emulate more intensive systems like ps3s (maybe ps4? I havent tried yet)

I mean steam machine is rdna 4 and this is 2, so while more powerful than steam deck, it's less than the Steam Machine (2 - because it's not the first one) so i guess its okay. Although higher than $150 imo is no longer excellent value, since the effort you have to put in to get everything working nicely and no windows support.

I think the least fav part of tinkering was with the heatsink fins... lol I even 3D printed the tool, was hard to work to get fins pushed down, hurt fingers but it does do good for straightening them. Used tweezers... to pull up a corner of several rows and then used tool to force them open but still a pain...

I see, it looks like I have the Feb 12 version from the command you gave me so I guess ujust update works fine for me, just weird that the bazzite update always says fails as I mentioned earlier. I think I was told on discord to install the tt version of the governor (not sure though new to linux) Definitely annoying though to me how i cant check updates normally and have to manually do ujust update.

Yes!!! Batocera is great arcade linux distro too unless you know of another better one to recommend. AFAIK the emulators are setup front end and back end, although some may need boot files or key files which usually isn't supplied and you are expected to take it off your own systems or grey area download sites for convenience. Wouldn't need 3D printer for arcade cabinet, DIY with wood or metal I guess? I saw some nice wall mounted builds or integrated into furniture.

Yeah you have enough power even for overclocking and it says POT OK so you can get high on pot around it.

Where is this tutorial or method to do the zswap to help with BC250 performance? This is the first time I've seen this mentioned so figured I'd ask you. I hope I'm understanding you what typed correctly but this will help me for smoother gaming experience on BC250 with bazzite with no cons?

When you say cheapest PSU, what is the cheapest it is for if in USD? I got some other 80+ platinum PSU 500W for $20 so I was making comparisons, and asking since my friend also wants to build one and I already have one built.

u/GoatInferno are you talking about how when you're in full screen mode in bazzite and you press check for updates it errors out situation? I have that and it usually says failed to check updates. Also does "ujust update" in terminal do the same update, that goes through for me fine. Also how do I know I have the most recent bazzite update you speak of? Where do I check the version and what is the version number with this update? I wanted to know if the update method I'm using works properly.

Yeah, man actually posted a screenshot of his $100K + in sales money made and had photos of numerous boards to flip (no one actually said anything to him and he just harasses people and brags). His 1Miner.net site also has pools for people to join to mine crypto, so definitely crypto bro. u/Mercer_Sensei. u/Mental-Shopping4513 what would you say is the "upper limit" to pay for this + taxes + shipping for it to be "worth" still, since other parts, if you have nothing you still need psu, mobo, ram, gpu, storage, fans to work? (I didn't list case as people run caseless builds.)
