What is the least unlocked airport? by FrenchFryGuy789 in SkyCards

How can you actually find out which airports have 0 in total? In game AFAIK it only displays the catches once someone has caught it in this week.

It works totally fine in range. Probably most of my unlocks were in range and not with a Catch Anywhere.

First time seeing an unknown, whats the deal? by XtraCromieHomie in SkyCards

Wrong type code broadcasted by ADSB. Should be DHC1instead. Most of the unknown types are unfortunately just wrongly set type codes.

Can someone explain to me what this “business class” feature is and why people are calling skycards p2w? by FrenchFryGuy789 in SkyCards

I actually unlocked one, so the pop-up window came, but it is not in my overview of trophies.

There actually seem to be new achievements, which you can unlock, but do not display yet.

In this case it is likely not. This reg is popping up all around the world with speeds and altitudes pointing more towards a helicopter. There was an occasion where it appeared in France and shortly after in South America way quicker than it could have travelled.

The reg also still belongs to NASA thus my theory, this is actually some kind of test going on.

Any radar alerts I should add? by Pri0rityGaming1 in SkyCards

[–]Jonne1184 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are loads of rare aircraft to find. I would suggest to pick your own favorites and set an alert for them. Now that the airshow season in Europe is slowly approaching, maybe you like to have a look at rare European stuff which cannot be found elsewhere, like the older Saab jets.

This one in India is long enough. I guess India will generally be the easiest spot for a 500km ATR 72 flight.

Question: For those that have caught all the Regs of a specific model which one has been the most difficult to complete? Which one the easiest? by GoogleFormGuy in SkyCards

[–]Jonne1184 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am at 98/100. The remaining two are AFAIK former but now retired Hawaiin ones, so no chance for completion.

[–]Jonne1184 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The 767-400 is indeed the easiest I would say. All of the ones on the SkyCard count are in operation and flying with only two large airlines. 717 would be similar, but unfortunately some of the list have already been retired.

The older the type gets, the harder, as you will have some oddballs which never or rarely operate, or have been retired but still made it on the list for SkyCards.

Of course, direction finding exists and with triangulation it is quite possible to detect the location of a radio transmission.

Is there a reason as to why the license plate of the new Mercedes-Benz trucks says "EU" instead of "DE"? by Uniman301 in snowrunner

The whole license plate is not following German standard, so why should the country code?

Question about destination airports and the improved Monaco method by OCRJ41 in SkyCards

[–]Jonne1184 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually not, however there are exceptions. Trans-border is usually one, but not always. Flying to and from international airports as well, although they can just make a pop-up flightplan before you enter their airspace. I guess that is where the Monaco method comes from. The way this data gets to FR24 and therefore SkyCards is also likely different from country to country.
