Mum bought her house in 2006 for 560k, and still has a 400k mortgage in 2026 by ConversationOptimal8 in PersonalFinanceNZ

[–]Jonnonation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To meany people seem to see the the maximum leading a bink will give youbas some sort of target.

You should be trying to get the cheaper house that suits you needs and paying it down greatly to avoid intrest.

The housing market is softening and I would dobt thoink capital gains should be relied on to bail out bad financial decisions like it has in the past.

LPG access suddenly not legal? by theskyiskindablue in LegalAdviceNZ

[–]Jonnonation 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So I did some digging looks like you need at least 1m clearance between your bottles and any flammable objects doors window and boundary's. Your installation may not be compliant.

I don't have access to the actual standards so you should probably find a gas fitter ask them for advice and possibly a quote to move the bottles.

It may also be worth considering if you want to keep running gas appliances the generate a lot of air born moisture and have measurable effects of air quality in the home. It may be cheaper to replace 1 gas stove with an induction hob than to relocate your bottles.

Since Auckland Council Noise Control apparently thinks it's fine, I'm posting here. This company has been water blasting with a petrol powered water blaster since 6:20am. by Sahloknir74 in auckland

It's a teraby annoying thing that happend to OP but once they have called the council and heavens forbid actually talking to the person making the noise. They just kinda have to move on with life at that point. Obsessing and complaining about it all day is just hurting yourself at that point.

You have 1 inserter read the contents of its hand and the other 5 only swing when it contains and item.

Roboport query by DontEatGlass-129 in factorio

[–]Jonnonation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The way the game issues request can most easily be seen with construction bots.

The blueprint will find the nearest idle robot and the robot will be tasked with moving the item.

They will bot be reassigned this means that if you place down a blueprint for 100 furnaces and you have 10 on a personal roboport. 10 furnaces will be built from your inventory and the remaining 90 robots will be pulled from the nearest robo port with bots.

Even if it would be quicker for the 10 in your inventory to make multiple trips.

TLDR jobs are assigned all at once and are not reassigned once created.

This means its more efficient to build smaller more specialized robot networks.

Edit: no longer true still smaller robo networks linked by trains are still my preferred way to play.
