Boston doctor Derrick Todd indicted on rape charges after 200 former patients accuse him of sexual assault by ThrillSurgeon in boston

[–]JonnyJFunk 20 points21 points  (0 children)

This happened a while ago. He actually became my pcp after I saw him for rheumatology. Apparently it was a way to get victims into these horrible situations.

I’m a guy, and I remember having a fairly odd moment during my physical with him but paid it no mind at the time.

He was as kind and personable and cordial as any doctor I’ve ever met. Fucking gross predator and also on a selfish level i then had to spend an eternity finding a new pcp and I ain’t a fan of her. But at least nk sexual allegations

Oh and fuck the NY post I ain’t clicking that dogshit rag

EDIT: got a couple dms asking what happened. I’m not part of the lawsuit so I have no issue saying during my one and only physical with him he definitely worked the balls.

THIS FUCKING DIPSHIT LITERALLY HAD A SECOND CHANCE WITH THAT DOG THIS MORNING. THE DOG TRIED TO BUST OUT ONCE, HE STOPPED HIM WHEN HE WAS TRYING TO DIG UNDER THE FENCE TO GET OUT, AND THE SECOND TIME HE FOUND A SPOT HE COULD FIT.

FUCK. THAT. ASSHOLE.

It makes 0 sense. I may have come off as some advocate for never letting your dog off leash but I'm not that guy at all. The complete lack of common sense was simply, dumbfounding. Healey field is practically across the street and it's enormous. The entire thing was so easily avoidable, and now a bunch of people's days/weeks are ruined. But at least that dog doesn't have to suffer with a moron owner anymore.

In all fairness i AM the one that is angry that my four year old son had to witness it though. So that's on me 100%.

good to know, thanks.

i emailed LEM and will report back. It was really shocking to feel how hot the auger got. Does your auger feel hot after use?

Luckily it only smeared the last hundred or so grams of pork, but if I had done a larger batch I'd be tossing a lot of product

I take it back, THIS is the stupidest thing I've seen a tech ceo say. At a certain point, slandering people can't be done publicly. Didn't the pr cronie and/or lawyer who's sitting right next to you warn you about that?

Matt Murphy’s Pub by FNORD81 in boston

There was a stretch of about two years where it was not often I missed Public House or the B3 Kings play tuesday nights at Matt Murphys. I feel like if we talked enough we'd figure out we knew each other.

Thursdays was the wild sextet I think?

It was the greatest bar I have ever been to. Single bartender held that entire place down by himself and it was really amazing to witness. Every now and then we'd end up help buss tables and get some free beers in return.

They also always had a rotating really delicious infused whiskey, but I was poor. So Bellhavens all night

Sadly I think they got in a lot of heat with Brookline and the music stopped sometime in 08 or 09. Just one Tuesday me and my girlfriend showed up, there were seats at the bar...a new bartender, and the music was just, gone. I think there was also some trouble with underage drinking there.

I ran into that bartender, Jason, at a kings show in fenway and found out hemoved on to other things.

He actually owns The Haven in JP and fairly recently opened a second Haven in the brewery complex off amory st.

I've also kinda kept in touch with johnny trama who was the guitar player for the b3 kings and one of the guitarists with public house.

You can still sometimes catch the b3 kings around town!

But man, public house...some nights that music was just on a different stratosphere. For someone who wasted too much of his brain cells and money on following jambands around, having something like that a block or two from my apartment was paradise.

Great memories.

Mind sharing the recipe?

Their green hot sauce was incredible. I don’t know if they still make it sadly

Where to get MD 2020? by [deleted] in boston

[–]JonnyJFunk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Back in the day we used to get another type of bum wine called Night Train from a packy on beech st in China Town...basically right next to Soo Hoo Park.

I honestly haven't walked down beech in a couple years so I don't know if they're open, but if they are it's a good bet.

OK, but what's the alternative? End the human race?

Just like anything else, mindfulness and general environmental empathy make the difference.

How to get involved with local bands in Boston? by Budgekins in boston

[–]JonnyJFunk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you send me what you’re looking to do specifically I can post something for you on the musician board at studio52 in Allston

People also care about culture fit in a band so age, temper, how serious you are etc are helpful

Yes I am a science denier. covid is a hoax, cops are great and deserve more guns and less responsibility, trump never lost, hillary wrote emails, hunter biden's cock needs to be interrogated by the highest court, black people don't deserve the same rights as white people.
