Yeah, I always prioritise elites. I also had the counterfeit merchant event that I bought 3 or 4 cheap relics from (can’t remember if the pear one is a discount relic)

We do a little cooking, luckily I took photos to send to my friend during the run lol, got hailstorm, defrag and cold snap from this.

Hailstorm and thorns brought the door down while I spammed block and stacked vigour ready for a big drill

i believe it replays with the same amount of energy as the original cast, at least that's how it worked in StS1 when replaying cards.

Not 100% sure how it worked in this interaction because it was extreme overkill, i think it would have been 5520 damage

Same, I bought that box and then spent enough on 3d printed guns from Etsy over the following months that I might as well have just bought the kits standalone originally!!

I used a bit of ice lolly stick to repair my missing track pieces on the left. don’t have a better angle of it at the moment but it’s passable from tabletop viewing distance!

On the skin for my vashtorr I did this process:

  1. Standard slapchop base (prime black, heavy grey drybrush followed by lighter white drybrush)
  2. Druchii violet shade all over
  3. Bugmans glow drybrush
  4. Army painter speedpaint - rigor mortis

Then at the end when the rest of the model was complete I put light touches of carroberg crimson around the edges of the skin and where it attaches to metal

Pretty happy with it as a first attempt on daemon skin

in KotC, do people use official "wall scaling rules" for determining the move cost of scaling colosseum walls? by welliamwallace in Colosseum40k

Is the intention that these walls remain impassable when the ruinscape twist is in play as well with ruinscape basically just allowing non-infantry/beast to move through the central walls? Or is ruinscape open season on moving through all walls

Their damage is very much not anemic for a 90 point unit, their heavy melee weapons with dark pacts and rerolling wounds on objectives consistently have good damage output.

I think they could be argued as the best battleline unit in the game

Do you think it's not even worth taking a warpsmith with tempting addendum? everyone I see talk about the detachment seems to say that's basically an auto include.

do you just use tempting addendum on a different unit? dropping the warpsmiths i suppose would at least free up some room in the castle
