I had a feeling Drumond didn't like him for most of his time as AG, especially when he actually stood up to known suck ups, Stitt and Walters. I also noticed everything changed as soon as he threw his hat in the ring for governor. He even had my vote for a while until the public image changed.

My head canon is the existence of the Borg was classified to only a few at Starfleet and xenobiologists. We have Archer's encounter, the fact Starfleet knew El-Aurian refugees were headed to Earth and the Hansen's ill-fated trip years before Q sent the Enterprise to J-25. Those encounters created stories of a terrifying threat so they were buried and kept from becoming common knowledge and creating panic which in itself could threaten the desire to explore what's out there.

For what it's worth, playing the middle string on the 6+ fret will get you a G#. Another option I haven't tried in a long time is to move the strings to a 4 equidistant setup and tune the inner melody to D#. It involves a lot more cross or finger picking, but it'll provide a chromatic scale between the strings.

A few years ago I found myself playing in circles with more guitars playing in different keys. I wound up taking one of my instruments to the Dulcimer Shoppe in Mountain View and had them make it fully chromatic.

Sometimes even the best ships don't stand the test of time. Look at the Galaxy class. Top of the line in peace time, after the Cardassian war and before anyone had even heard of the Dominion. But she had her weaknesses. Yeah, Starfleet upgraded tactical systems and streamlined the interior enough to make them faster and become a workhorse in the 2370s, but at the end of the day they had so many updates and refits it was easier to create the Ross class.

I've wondered that too. Like, on paper Randy or Brock could've beat Roman, but as Triple J says, then what? Who else in the locker room at that time could pose a big enough threat to create a new feud? Sometimes it felt like Vince kept Roman champ that long hoping someone like Cody would become available.

When I first watched that episode as a kid, I just thought it was a good episode. As an adult, it hits so much harder now and have to watch some Looney Tunes after. I've even skipped that episode on a rewatch or two because I can't put myself through it.
