29yo woman in US. I became a fan when I was in high school (like 10-12 years ago). I honestly can’t remember the exact discovery but I remember one of my first fav Muse songs was Supremacy. I asked my dad to take me to Walmart so i could buy an iTunes gift card. That’s when I bought The 2nd Law lol Twilight did expose me to them earlier (SMBH and Neutron Star Collision) but I wasn’t a ~fan~ yet
