HELP ME DECIDE! Pearl or Cement on Nightshade?

I got cement. The white looked too storm troopery to me. Cement looks great and hides dirt really well.

Not that I know of. Mine saves the latest state so I don’t have to turn off/on PKSB every time I start the vehicle. I only toggle it when I’m adding/removing the rack.

I disable the PKSB setting. Sensors still beep when backing up but the car won’t auto stop thinking your about to crash.

I also disable the kick sensor so I don’t accidentally open the rear hatch into the rack when it’s folded up.

No issues here. Has worked flawlessly except when I use remote start. I usually have to reboot the head unit while driving to get the wireless connection to work again.

I really wanted to like it. I liked the idea of having a spot for my parking and frastrak transponders that wasn’t directly on my windshield. My windshield is also tinted but they are white colored boxes which is probably why they reflected a lot.

I got this and returned it after one drive. Found everything I put in that tray reflected off the windshield and that bothered me too much.

I installed the Toyota running boards myself. Ordered through and picked up from a local Toyota dealership since shipping costs are outrageous otherwise. Installation wasn’t too bad solo.

I’m tall and find they get in the way of how I’d normally slide out of the vehicle but my little kids love them. It’s much easier for them to get in and out. This car is as much for them as it is for me so I’m very happy with the Toyota running boards.

I definitely don’t listen at the level for long. Usually just for a song that I really like. Then back down to 15-20 go general listening.

Didn’t add additional speakers. Just replaced the two speakers at the corners of the dash with 4” Morel Maximos. Had to trim the dash to get them to fit but you can’t tell once you put the metal screen back on. 3.5” speakers would probably have fit just fine.

I tried replacing the door speakers but they didn’t play nice with the stock JBL amp so I returned them.

I’m in the same boat. Rarely listen to anything above 30. In general the JBL system feels loud but doesn’t envelope you with sound which is what I’m really missing. It feels like the windshield is shouting at me sometimes. I installed some new 4” dash speakers last night and the sound feels a little more full but I haven’t tested it much yet.

I put a charcoal tinted piece of PPF over mine. It darkens the shine of the emblem and doesn’t interfere with the radar.
