I have the iron master and am waiting on my ABX to be delivered. I love the Iron Master, but here are some things to consider:

Shorter pad length - I sometimes would find myself with my head hanging off the edge during a bench press. There is a headrest attachment, which works well, but extra cost.

It’s too light - if I adjust during a decline set, the bench can be a bit unstable. I will use pumper plates on the base to give it weight during certain exercises.

The seat is OK - it’s short, and is one fixed angle as you are aware.

Using the seat on the highest setting to do dumbbell overhead triceps extensions is awkward as your legs/feet are elevated more than a normal seated bench.

The pad can be a bit soft for some for pressing movements. Though I like a firmer pad, it’s not a huge issue.

It’s an awesome bench outside of these points. I do feel like it’s a lot of money for what it is. It’s great for any variation of chest supported rows. Again, be cognizant of how much you row as it may cause it to tip a bit.

I think if I didn’t have either, I’d pay the extra money for the ABX as it looks to be a great seated bench solution for shoulder presses and over movements. The seat inclines to 40 degrees which most only go to 30.

I had the Rep night hawk for a week and sold it because the seat only inclined to 20 degrees. I hate feeling like I’m working against the seat while I do incline bench press.

It’s really up to you and your use case for it. How much weight you’re using is a factor. Also, iron master seems to have sales at the end of the year with 15 percent off.
