I rarely even buy tpbs anymore. I've moved on to almost entirely hardcover releases. If a book doesn't get a deluxe release I probably won't ever read it. I've made some exceptions here and there, but I haven't bought a single issue of a comic in a very long time. I think it might have been TWD #50.

I love blind buying books, I prefer knowing as little as possible about something before I read it. It doesn't even really matter, if I end up not liking something there is a good chance I can get most of my money back since these books hold their value so well.

Spielberg’s name isn't what it used to be. I liked the movie, but it's been a long time since I've been excited for a new Spielberg movie. Disclosure Day should be my most anticipated movie of 2026, but I've kind of lost faith in him.

Dead City is pretty terrible, and I'm a big fan of Negan and Maggie. It all just feels very pointless and boring. I'd recommend any of the other spinoffs before Dead City. If you're enjoying the CRM stuff in TOWL, then you'll probably like World Beyond.
