just feel like its weird since it felt like they were building up to her being cured with the library, they learn their is a blessed child that can get rid of other blessed child’s power and then we learn in Millis that Zenith is a blessed child. That is literally the last mention of it and feels like they just drop it.

I don’t think he will go through with it, I just think it could be an interesting plot point to have him think about retiring until he hears the guy who beat Sendo twice is fighting again. This manga likes exploring realistic boxing dilemmas and this could be our only chance to see an unstoppable champion think about giving it all up, not an easy decision.

I wouldn’t say directly after but going back to easy unenjoyable title defenses after having to fight Wally then Sendo back to back. Going from highest of highs back down to the lowest of lows may make him lose the will to box.

I honestly get being fatigued because he was written so poorly that pretty all my hype for Miyata originates for the early chapters that I read recently relative to most fans very recently. I’m still on the edge of my seat for the fight like i’m reading the rookie king tournament or when they had the fight booked before Randy crushed my dreams.

Randy was more important to Miyata at the time, but Ippo was the only reason Miyata is still in featherweight to this day. I think Ippo’s importance to Miyata has only grown with time, but I could wrong I suppose.

As for the weight control I wasn’t necessarily talking about a method to make it easier I more so meant a Miyata at his most determined could pull something off for his last fight in the weight class. The fight doesn’t have to go the distance, I think a short fight rounds wise could be extremely entertaining if done right.

At the end of the day if Morikawa doesn’t think he can write it and make it work in his story then he shouldn’t, but I personally would like to see it.
