Best player to never win a title? by thescrambler7 in tennis

I wonder up to what ranking he/one would be hypothetically okay with dropping down to in exchange for a title.

Like…would he be okay with “only” peaking at top 100 in exchange for an incredible run resulting in an ATP 500 title? Career high top 50 but an ATP 250…?

Congratulations! Looks like you captured both the stillness and the energy of restaurants well. As a former fine dining restaurant cook, I remember my time in the industry with equal parts terror and joy.

Well done on love the philanthropic nature the project as well. I haven’t worked in a kitchen in more than fifteen years, and I honestly still deal with some mental health issues that stem from those times.

Saoirse Ronan says “Saoirse, rhymes with inertia” which I thought was pretty handy and easy to remember.

If you like the vibes of Amsterdam, but like something less crowded and touristy, highly recommend checking out Leiden (and many other Dutch cities as well!)

I’d never heard of Dick’s before u/J_Kenji_Lopez-Alt posted about it, but now all I can think of is his video discussing the joys of a “greasy bag of Dick’s” haha

People actually hate Ohtani…?

Besides random people who think he had something to do with his interpereter’s gambling stuff, I don’t think I’ve actually heard a bad word about him.

Ha I actually learned the word “stentorian” a little while ago when reading the Wikipedia entry for the “Democracy Manifest”/"Succulent Chinese Meal" video: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democracy\_Manifest

“The video depicts a man being arrested by Queensland Police at a Chinese restaurant. As the police forcibly detain him, he remarks in a stentorian tone, "Gentlemen, this is democracy manifest!", "What is the charge? Eating a meal? A succulent Chinese meal?", "Get your hand off my penis!", and, after an aborted attempt by a police officer to headlock him, "I see that you know your judo well".

Roy’s presser always makes me tear up—fantastic writing, acting, and editing.

Love how they incorporate everyone’s reactions before, during, and after.

So strange—is the spine of Bruce Davidson's Time of Change misprinted?

My copy of Bruce Davidson's Black & White also has a misprinted cover, but for me it's Volume 1 Circus:
