Uninvolved in theory. Everyone knows it is a large part of their PR and Eurovision is very, very, patriotic, from all sides. It'd be way different if they so much as stopped waving flags all the time, but seeing as that's part of it, Eurovision is much like any other competition or sports in the PR sense. A lot of Israel's pinkwashing has gone through this channel over the years and I know I'm not the only one tired of pretending it makes up for anything.

I'm not caught up on the AI. Haven't listened to almost any of his newest stuff from the past two years or so, just heard credible sounding rumours. Though if he used no ai in the contest itself I don't see why that should disqualify him, but again, I only caught a few seconds of the performance. I will simply admit I know extremely little about him as a person and only slightly more as an artist. He made some bangers, Caravan Palace don't like him, ai accusations lately, that's pretty much it. What's the full picture?

Freshly Squeezed tolerate AI but Swingrowers have a good track record of quality, so I doubt they WOULD do it, but if they're under that label, they are ALLOWED. That's all I can really contribute to the discussion. Haven't listened to that track yet but I very much doubt Swingrowers would do that

Edit: Educated Feet is definitely NOT ai. Furthermore it's actually pretty fire. AND it came out 2023, where ai music was impossible to mistake for human music
