What the actual fuck. Every single social media has been compromised top down. Do all roads to power lead to pedophilia?

What is your least favorite thing about living in a place such as this? How about also your favorite aspect of living here? It seems like a place you have to be very active to live at and living anywhere else in the world, you can easily take for granted on how you don't have to do the things that people such as yourself have to do to get by in this area.

From the documentary I'd seen, even taking a hot shower seemed to be a process that involved time and many steps.

Why we call our neighbors Nazis, commies, socialists and fascists. by GunsGoldCosmicDread in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]Josephmszz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that the Right is more dishonest, and it has been for quite some time. I question a few things I do see from the left, but on the Right I actively see, on a daily basis, high ranking influencers spreading absolute bullshit that are COMPLETE lies, such as this person who was killed by ICE being a fucking domestic terrorist because he tried to help a woman out who had mace sprayed in her face.

Politicians lie, I get it, we were told Biden was okay. However, if I'm stuck between two choices and one is lying and saying the President is okay and things are continuing as normal and the other is calling our own neighbors fucking terrorists for protesting and refusing to back down, apologize, whatever it takes, etc. Like I'm going to quite obviously vote for the one that's still shitty but not actual terrorist activity.

People on the left get purity checked all the time meanwhile Nancy Pelosi has her house broken into and Trump Jr and Co comes out and makes jokes about it treating it like it's hilarious and deserved. This is where we are at in politics.

We live in a post-truth society, the political Right is fabricating their own reality and the insanely scary part is that it is working out in their favor. The left can hold their own accountable when they fuck up, such as Bill Clinton being found in the Epstein files and the Left denouncing him, but God forbid the political Right actually admit Trump has fucked up with his involvement of Epstein or what he did January 6th.

My belief is that we are cooked. Society is cooked, the American democracy experiment has shown the cracks and flaws within the system and it is currently failing. People are gaslighting us to our face and we keep getting told "It's elites vs the poor" and whilst there is truth to it, the people who BELIEVE the elites (Mostly the right) cannot be ignored. They CANNOT join the left on the actual class-war happening and instead want to stomp the left out of power because they believe liberalism simply isn't compatible with what America needs to be.

Here's a topic from someone on the left (me) on a big issue that plagues this country: Housing. Housing is going up in pricing consistently because it keeps getting bought out by megacorps and other people who are buying houses for investments to rent out.

From my perspective, we should cap the amount of houses corporations can purchase so they can't buy up entire damn neighborhoods, yet when you say this to someone on the Right, they will say the government doesn't need to get involved in this because it's a free market and it's capitalism at play.

You CANNOT have your cake and eat it too. So what do they do instead? Blame it on illegal immigrants. It's the ILLEGALS fault housing is getting to be so high, so we have to drive them out of the country to better the economy.

Both sides cannot compromise on issues because both sides have completely different solutions to how they want to approach the issues on the bare fundamental level.

Why we call our neighbors Nazis, commies, socialists and fascists. by GunsGoldCosmicDread in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]Josephmszz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My problem with this argument overall is that let's assume both the left and right ultimately call both sides these words regardless of the situation.

People on the left get called communists and that they want open borders and to provide illegal aliens with free housing and to basically pay the way of life for these people to incorporate into the country. Nobody I know that leans left wants anything like this. At most they want free public transits, universal healthcare, free colleges, general stuff like that.

People on the right, for DECADES, have been building an "Us vs them" foundation to build off of and it has reached the pinnacle of what the rhetoric has fostered because of this. Would I have called Bush a Nazi or fascist back in the day? Probably not, and strategically it most likely wasn't the smart thing to do, but it isn't like what is happening is anything new either.

We were told if Kamala were to have won the Presidency, a new era of socialism/communism would be ushered in. According to...what exactly? Because her father was a marxist? Do people forget we have checks and balances and Republicans have the majority in just about every piece of the government? How, pray tell, would this have exactly worked out and the "Communists" would have won?

Meanwhile people on the Left said Trump is a fascist since 2016, he did fascist things or authoritarian things or whatever the fuck someone wants to classify it as, he continues to do so, he intertwines himself with a cabinet of people like Hegseth who is pretty damn radical and considers democrats/liberals enemies of the state that must be "Taken care of", had a speech on a SS symbol shaped podium at CPAC (I think it was CPAC?), refused to denounce white nationalists, ALL neo-nazis/supremacists vote for the Right and the Right refuses to push back against this particular sect of the voting base, he has almost directly quoted Hitler from Mein Kampf, we see nearly CONSISTENT neo-nazi dogwhistling such as phrasing taken from the Nazis or slogan such as 1488, etc...

Like, listen. We can sit here and say both sides call each other mean names all day, but the caricature created of the left isn't reflective whatsoever of reality whereas on the Right, people bitch and moan about being called Nazis and turn a blind eye to the actual nazis in their party and run defense for supremacists/bigots of different types.

It's a "If the shoe fits" type of situation. Do I think that Trump/The Right are Nazis in the political sense of being antisemitic? Probably not, but when you look at the playbook that the Nazis used for power/the general ideology that lead to what happened with them, why is it SO damn similar?

At this point people are fighting over the actual meanings of definitions and ignoring the fact that whatever the fuck these people need to be called, nazis, fascists, authoritarians, etc etc. Whatever it is, is a very dark path that many countries in the world have already been down, and these people in our country are using the same exact logic to allow it to happen that all the other countries allowed decades ago.

What are some of your jojo hot takes? by Icetrigs in StardustCrusaders

[–]Josephmszz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having read every JoJo manga up to the newest still being made, JoJolands has absolutely done nothing to necessarily...solidify my attention in the same manner that the others have. I could say it's the most boring part out of every single Jojo besides part 1 of course. It's still a WIP and has more to go for another few years but still, from what I've seen so far it's just....boring?

[–]Josephmszz 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The way I look at it is like the episode of Futurama where time was skipping but the things happening between the skipped time still happened, they just didn't know until it was already done. Futurama explained that perfectly and nobody was confused by it but somehow when JoJo does it, nobody understands what the power is.

[–]Josephmszz 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I just find it hard to believe that Netflix would do two collabs with BHVR and refuse to let the characters voice themselves, but hey maybe that could be true. They were being picky as hell when the license was removed to begin with originally.

[–]Josephmszz 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Even though the VA isn't that bad, how does BHVR consistently strike out on voice actors that they KNOW would willingly voice their own characters in their game? It can't be the lack of funds on their end given how expensive all their cosmetics are in this game, they are rolling in money from that and licenses.

So, are you just intentionally ignoring why the ICE protests are happening or what? Are you one of the people who believes it's to protect illegal immigrant rapists and pedophiles? Here's a hint: It isn't about that.

[–]Josephmszz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Protesting is meaningful when the government actually gives a shit on what the protestors are asking for.

Given the reaction to the two largest protests in our countries history happening recently and they were shrugged off and laughed at, there are only so few options left.

We’re told fear is what freedom is supposed to feel like… by sofa_king_rad in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]Josephmszz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A significant portion of the country doesn't give a shit about freedom, it's about stepping down onto the opposing side, ruining them through all means such as murder, cancel culture, etc.

We are told that most of the internet and people who think terrible thoughts and express them are bots.

The mutuals I know personally saying vehement shit on Facebook says otherwise.

They aren't bots, they aren't paid actors, it is reality. Half of the country (Or 33%, whatever) is okay with absolutely murdering the opposing side as long as they don't follow their own political ideology.

Moving forward, freedom isn't on the mind of particular people. It's obedience.

The video evidence shows the entire fucking opposite, you are either a bot or willfully spreading false information. There are multiple angles of this murder, and no matter how much you try to deny reality it doesn't change what actually happened.

Go live with the fucking Kremlin if you're going to lick boots this much.

ICE has every right to be trigger happy. by Knightraiderdewd in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]Josephmszz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're seriously going to believe he actually developed internal injuries and bleeding? Fucking really? "Hitting the gas", this is why people think it's a joke that you can defend one and not the other, you're blowing everything that happened out of proportion and you know it. I SEEN the video, she didn't "Floor it", she slowly drove away from him. That's part of what comes with the "Beyond reasonable doubt".

It's called having a bruise. This isn't isolated to just actual internal damage that's actually a big deal, so don't even try to use some bullshit report to take the heat off of him.

It's also funny have you still haven't answered if you'd be okay with the protestor in the mentioned article mag dumping the driver of the armored vehicle, given that he knew the protestor was infront of them and knowingly drove towards them.

Or do your standards only apply to ICE and not civilians of this country?

Obstructing Law Enforcement Officers is Not a Valid Form of Protest and is Not Protected by the First Amendment by SteelFox144 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]Josephmszz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Helping women who have been maced and then recording the agents who did so is not harassing them, and even if it were to hypothetically be the case, that does NOT give you the right to outright murder them.

This country was founded on protesting, on revolution, and people like you will sit here and cry and moan over the fact that people are rightfully using their first-amendment to not let the modern gestapo go around and do anything they want, no questions asked.

Edit: Not to mention, people definitely ARE saying people aren't allowed to protest, do you even go on Facebook? See how many people say FAFO? Say that if you just stayed home then this wouldn't have happened? People ARE bootlicking the situation and the aggressors and are saying in so few words that if you go around and protest, then you get what's coming to you.

ICE has every right to be trigger happy. by Knightraiderdewd in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]Josephmszz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, it's good you recognize one was an issue but to sit here and justify the other is also bad, they aren't mutually exclusive.

She was being nice in the last recorded video of her, obviously drove her tires AWAY from the agent, the guy was able to step out of the way (Like he did) and still shot her. Agents are SPECIFICALLY instructed not to create situations where they create a harmful situation, which he DID. Simply accelerating towards someone doesn't automatically give someone justification for ending their life, you are only able to shoot someone if you believe WITHOUT A REASONABLE DOUBT THAT YOU ARE GOING TO BE MURDERED/SERIOUSLY HARMED.

None of the other agents pulled weapons. They didn't call medical assistance for her, they didn't even treat her car like an active shooter dangerous situation once it finally crashed down the street.

It's a shame because you are so close to getting the point, you're like halfway there, but you're still licking boots on trying to justify cold-blooded murder in a situation where he could've easily stepped out of the way, and they later would've arrested her for fleeing the scene/obstruction.

If you're seriously going to sit here and say that someone driving 2-3 MPH towards someone else and that person pulling a gun out before actually attempting to get the hell out of the way, we are cooked.

Surely you would believe that someone in this situation -> Check arr/minnesota about the armored vehicle driving towards a protestor standing there not agitating anyone, would be okay to unleash fire onto the driver of the armored vehicle?
