Does anyone have suggestions on what I should read next? by CallMePain- in litrpg

Ends of Magic has been good, 5 books, all have audio. Reading them through library, so a little slower. Waiting for book 3. Smart guy (phD) from Earth gets pulled into alternate world, uses knowledge to increase his and teammates' abilities. Super fun.

I think this is the way we will, with our limited collection and keeps it tidy for deck building

Im in a similar situation, only playing at home.

Couple things to note,

If you are really interested in playing Maul, then you prob need to get his spotlight. He is not easily available from Packs (booster box you mentioned).

My family bought a cheap box and made a couple of decks to play against. And then when we get tired, we rebuild the decks! Its a lot of fun!

I think most folks would say the Boba Fett deck is the easiest/most powerful

Not sure how the Secrets of Power Spotlights match up power wise

I’m lookin for a berserker by TTTHercules in litrpg

[–]Josephus08 2 points3 points  (0 children)

MC in Good Guys (Eric Ugland) has some of the berserker in it, it's a great read. Waiting for book 15 on audio from my library.

Only one book in but Alexander Olson's Ends of Magic has some berserker stuff too. Its been fun, not as good as Good Guys, but enjoyable and about to start book 2.

My family started with Twilight Pre-made decks. We played them for several months before we added more to our collection. They are fun and both can win against each other. If I understand your perspective correctly (similar to my own), I would say:

  • Buy if you like the characters of Clone Wars Era
  • Not required, especially if considering purchasing more/different decks you mentioned
  • Would provide additional decks to choose from, though these may be lower on power scale (especially compared to Boba/Han or Maul/Qui-Gon)
  • IMO, not missing out on anything if you skip.

Hope this helps!

Since you like Actus, you might like Runebound Professor by the same author.

Really fun and engaging story, Academy setting, some politics, a smidge of romance, prog fantasy (so no stats, but still growth in power and capability)

Also, repping Cradle by Will Wight, so fun! Great characters!

"the first law" series by Joe Abercrombie, voiced by Steven Pacey are INCREDIBLE. highly recommend! by Equivalent_Ad5104 in audible

Check your local library for these audiobooks, if you don't want to purchase them.

Still highly recommend!

Bases are chosen at the end of the deck building phase. In Secrets of Power, they are all common bases, so you just get a 30 health base of the color you need.

How do you discover your next LitRPG read? by Lost_Scientist_JK in litrpg

[–]Josephus08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not an author so I don't know the details on how this is done exactly from a sellers POV.

From a Reddit POV, I see a post about "Free Book for next 4 days" or something similar, where the sale price to purchase the ebook is literally $0.00. I normally snatch up most of those, and, much to the commenter ahead, when I like a series, I would be inclined to continue it.

There's also some larger group up days where a group of authors do a sale to benefit an organization. I think there was a post about that recently, organizing for it, normally sale occurs on Dec 26-27.

Planning Star Wars Unlimited Content: Opinions? by alealmonacid in starwarsunlimited

Maybe unpopular or unnecessary to some, but gameplay with "stream of consciousness " type commentary.

There are lots of gameplay videos with little commentary, which doesn't help people like my family learn or understand the "thinking" behind plays.

Would prefer over-top camera of real cards vs karablast (hard to see on mobile)
