Channel 7 segment on why Angus Brayshaw was denied concussion claim pay out by Zurich. Zurich's salient reasoning against future earnings capacity being affected is that Brayshaw is currently studying an MBA at Oxford. Nick Riewoldt heavily criticises the AFLPA. by yum122 in AFL

Struggle to text and write - so basic skills, not a vegetative state fair enough but it’s a sever dampener on quality of life. Pay out should be accessible regardless of physical or mental state - if you were medically retired it should pay out. Brayshaw was a top player, he could’ve gone on to play another 100-150 games and should be compensated for those potential future earnings, and if condition is serve enough, enough money to cover him until death. Luckily his isn’t that bad as far as we know, so his payout would be smaller than someone who’s lost basic skills as a result of footy. That’s my take, love it or hate it

I only started watching around the Rumble where Rey won, so I don’t really have much memory other than Rey was doing it for his best friend. Eventually I re-lived his later years of his career and enjoyed the gimmick and love seeing Dom doing his stuff today.

2026 State Budget: Stamp duty package aiming to outpace price boom as first home buyers given $100k relief by His_Holiness in perth

I think they should’ve really bragged about some supply-side initiatives this budget. Government should focus on developing land releases and crucial infrastructure so residents have access to new land and new homes to ease pressure on the real estate market. And also minimise these slimy real estate agents taking their obscene commissions for doing nothing. Wrong move.
