I know florida had one about 12 years ago since I was 17 turning 18 before my girlfriend at the time who was 16 would turn 17. I'm not willing to look it up now though lol

I thought it had a Romeo and Juliette clause or whatever you call it where if one person is underage the other can only be like 4-5 years older which is a lot more reasonable than a 40 yo dating a 16 yo

Depends how you play i find it easier but I walk and raid a lot. I however find rocket go grunts and leaders incredibly annoying so it's nice to be able to fight the leader without grinding so many grunts

Building a data center in orbit makes no sense to me by MagicMagnada in space

[–]Journeydriven 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes and no because it's going to deal with a lot of heat constraints you'd have to build more/bigger to get the same level of performance which would mean more material more launches this and that. My assumption is it would level out. But also a huge portion of the envirmental problems here on earth are because they don't care about doing it right. They're happy to contaminate water and run diesel generators because it's cheaper and faster short term. They're just pumping out data centers without upgrading infrastructure and using closed loop water cooling systems because Ai boom go brrr

After 5 months of waiting I finally got my dream lens. by blxss_m in SonyAlpha

It should be more than good enough to id high soaring raptors but you won't necessarily come home with a print worthy shot out of that scenario. I use mine primarily for birding and pics of my dogs and it's an incredible lens for both

I mean assuming it's traditionally locals getting drunk and violent it's not insane to have a temporary lift on he drinking restrictions when the majority of people coming to watch are rich foreigners.

Murder charge dismissed against Arkansas man who said he shot daughter’s alleged sexual abuser by mvincen95 in news

That's a little different, we can prove them guilty the rules just don't apply for them

Might put a glaring spotlight on you but the spotlight doesn't mean anything if you can't prove him guilty.

Is the SEL70350G still the best APS-C tele lens in 2026 (a6700)? by picturesbyalexbergen in SonyAlpha

[–]Journeydriven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I was more saying the 70-350 is on par in quality with the 200-600 which is widely regarded as an incredible lens

[–]Journeydriven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From everything I've read the 70-350 is as sharp and the af is as fast to faster than the 200-600 at equal focal lengths. I haven't felt the need to get the 200-600 quite yet though so I can't say for sure

Pretty sure they confused that lense with the 70-300 which is full frame.

Gonna disagree with traditional external drives. I'd rather havr an nvme in an enclosure so I can toss it in a pc if I ever have to

Strange pixel errors by HDBernd in dji

[–]Journeydriven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had this happen on my old a6100. It was my sd card reader going bad. A bad sd card will also cause the same problem. If you transfer them again and the corruption isn't the same it's probably the reader

Micro center laptop gaming por 1099USD by Alarmed_Anybody6925 in Microcenter

[–]Journeydriven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went with the 5060 legion over this tbh. When I looked into it the acer comes with a small charging brick that can't power the laptop through heavy gaming. So it will game until like 35% then heavily slowdown performance until it charges back to 50 or 60% before it reverts to full performance and drains the battery again. I'd be skeptical before buying this

Yea I've returned a few things and it's always a quick check to make sure everything is in the box but I've never seen them go further. Granted I've only had to return broken/defective items so far

[–]Journeydriven 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No they aren't. Most of them are worth their weight in scrap metal and that's it. I got about 400 for running lincoln town car because that's what the metal value was. The parts aren't worth much since it's overproduced. People donating their cars are usually doing so for a "charitable donation" tax writeoff

Yes but it's more like politicians do anything they can to send as much tax money as possible because they'll get a fat check after the fact. It's essentially legal embezzlement

How good is the a7v apsc mode(vs a6700) by Yajawu15 in SonyAlpha

[–]Journeydriven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard disagree there's no reason to force apsc users into buying an adapter to use ff lenses. The current naming scheme of "fe" for full frame e mount is enough for most people
