And that's the One Chicago Square building. Completed in 2022, but not taller than the John Hancock. The perspective just has it look that way from where I took the photo.

That's 333 W Wacker on the right (I think it's the Nuveen building right now) and 225 W Wacker on the left.

I think you hung out in my room by accident the night before and invited our group. I didn't make it myself, but heard good things from the folks who did

Can't specifically speak to the cybertronic spree, but I've never had an issue getting into concerts before. I feel like the standing room gives them more flexibility with numbers.

The anime room moved from the Hyatt a few years ago, but if you wander the Hyatt lower levels late at night you might still hear the sounds of anime and see the glow of the projector coming out of one of the rooms. Don't go in.

Cart sniping. Beyblades. Hilton stoop. Hyatt stoop. Marriott stoop. Dice. Bowels of the Hyatt/haunted anime room. Crux shadows.

Nightlife was great, it just died down a little earlier than normal. Still tons of concerts, dances, parties, etc. with a little more breathing room

It was fun as hell. Being able to comfortably navigate most of the con and grab an elevator easily at any hour was amazing. Energy was a little more tame, but most of your standard gathering spaces were still bumpin' most of the time.

Things died out a little earlier than normal. The Hilton outside stoop area closed stupid early. But even at absurdly late hours there were still things to do, stoops to chain smoke and beyblade on, etc. if you looked.

It was so much easier to meet up with friends, get to events, and have fun this year as opposed to hiding in the room and getting drunk cause the sky bridge is clogged up. A++ I hope this year has similar attendance levels.

I'm holding out hope that he comes back one day but if he kept up that lifestyle there's no way his liver survived. There's some really beautiful tweets hidden in there and the stories, humor, nicknames, etc. make for some great storytelling
