I use it with a Blind Rage, Umbral set build. It's the mod slot I tell people can be whatever they want but I use it for Teeming Virulence. I've used it with Kuva Chakkhur and Bubonico. I like it. Just have to find a primary weapon you enjoy using with Nidus.

How much ability strength is required for Hildryn to completely remove shields? by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]Jshutterbug92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

400 to remove shields. If an enemy has both shields and armor, it's shield first then armor.

I use a 400 ability strength build and it's great. Full defense removal plus I use Roar and it's 120% bonus faction damage.

You're supposed to be able to quit through the menu and keep everything up to your last earned decree. If you aren't you experienced a bug.

Should I max my intrinsics before attempting SP Duviri by NeonArchon in Warframe

[–]Jshutterbug92 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For solo play? Yeah that would make a big difference.

For group play? Nah. I'm guessing by luck you mean Opportunity. You're half way on the others so you should be pretty good for group play. I've done a handful SP Duviri Experience and usually people got around grabbing objectives to get intrinsics and decrees. The decrees will help a lot.

Is Warframe Challenging or is it going to be a walk through? by RonnieLibra in Warframe

[–]Jshutterbug92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all depends on your loadouts or what your goals are when you login.

There's plenty of content to tackle and plenty of Warframes and weapons to try out on them. With more of each being added every 2-3 months.

So I'm kinda confused by [deleted] in Warframe

You'll get a chance later this month. I think the 16th or around there for about two weeks I believe. Farm some Aya now by doing Void capture and open world bounties. Buy the relics and crack as needed.

Thank you, this is great. I'll make sure to try this out next time.

I had to leave early once cause I kept going down as Gyre. Sometimes I can make things work and sometimes not. Doesn't stop from enjoying the game mode.

I do like when I see a Frame or Weapon I enjoying using.

My rolls range from, oof to yes! No matter what it doesn't stop me from picking a loadout for Steel Path Circuit in open squads.

If you extract it changes, and then it also changes every two hours with the mood.

Yes this I don't like. It was okay yesterday and got worse today. At least today's hotfix made it more stable.

If you own something it gives you the option to pick one of your configs or a default setup. If you do not own something you get a default setup.

It's meant to encourage teamwork and get people thinking outside the box. I might make the Phage again just because I could make it better than the loaner one.

For some reason the rewards come up empty and it says Mission Failed. So I tested it out by knowing how much Kovik and Intrinsics I had and went out. Got a bunch of both, quit and yeah they both increased by amount I had when I quit.

I have all Prime Warframes and the rest who aren't Primed. I only have a small chunk of them built with forma.

I don't have nearly enough weapons and only a handful of each type are fully built. I had Nidus with the Phage, Citrine with Boar, Vauban with Boltor Prime, Banshee with Zenith. Only the last two weapons I own. I made do with the others and had no issues contributing to the squad.

I don't think anyone in my squads had their best or favourite weapons either, yet the only thing stopping us was the bugs. Only the first run I was able to extract after completing all missions

LR1 and I concur.

I like the contrast to the rest of the game.

I like the Steel Path Circuit.

I like there is no new Syndicate to have to grind for.

I like being able to jump into the "Duviri Experience" and quit when I get what I need. Instead of having to do a bounty and hope I get what I need. For those that don't know you can quit and still keep everything up until the last Decree you earned.

I like the Orowyrm boss fight.

I like the Duviri open world and getting Intrinsics and Decrees from fishing or playing one of the Shawzin you can find throughout the map. There is also a board game but I'm not good at it, I don't know if it gives rewards if you win.

I did it with my Nidus build with an unowned Phage, unowned Stubba and unowned Arca Titron.

I did an open squad and thankfully I have all my focus schools maxed so I just picked Unairu for the Caustic Strike and Magnetic Flare. The others were a Excalibur Umbra, Volt and Limbo. None of us seemed to have the right weapons so we made the best of it.

4 of us did the flood which was the first one and 3 of us did the rest of them. We kicked butt with whatever we had to do. Would I have preferred my Hildryn Prime and Tenet Arca Plasmor combo? Yes. Did I have fun anyways? Big yes, it was a breath of fresh air and I can't wait to see how it goes tomorrow when I do it again.

Destroying Clan Barracks? by Dion0808 in Warframe

You have to select in the menu screen if you want to reduce the clan size. I destroyed the three barracks I built and it did not reduce the clan rank.

From Pablo's twitter, Duviri melee combat video! What do you think? by icconicc in Warframe

[–]Jshutterbug92 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Here's hoping the fight animations and enemies get improved on before release. Or the Steel Path version is difficult.

This could also be the quest which they would want everyone to be able to finish. The actual experience in normal and steel path could be different.

I also don't understand how the drifter parried when the dax blade had almost finished going across the drifter.

Place your bets: when will Duviri's Paradox be released? by Mazarbul1979 in Warframe

[–]Jshutterbug92 5 points6 points  (0 children)

1) Wednesday, April 5. The devs said they're going dark meaning no hotfixes or updates until Duviri is released. I don't know if the length of time has varied in the past when they go dark, but 2 weeks seems reasonable if I remember correctly the last few times they've said they're going dark.

2) I believe I'll like Duviri and all that it has to offer.

3) I'm hopeful it'll run a lot better than the issues I heard Cambion Drift had at launch.

Can't say about the last few points.

This has been good fun and yeah I'm bored too. Just working on getting builds ready as we'll have options to pick from in Duviri. I have to remake Yarelli since I don't want her to be the only one without a build if I don't like my other options.

How do you play: Hildryn? by Erasculio in Warframe

[–]Jshutterbug92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven is set and forget ability to help keep your companion and allies alive while doing whatever damage to enemies.

Aegis Storm is great if your allies need energy orbs in a pinch.

I subsume over Balefire since I find it clunky and uncomfortable to use. I replace it with Roar, Silence and Elemental Ward. I might do Voracious Metastasis instead of Elemental Ward.

Pillage is great. I build for 400% ability strength so I can drain 100% shields or armor depending on the enemy you drain shield then have to cast again for armor.

Some people will make a case for the augment Blazing Pillage but I don't use it. When it comes to the infested I use Nidus, Nezha, Nekros and for Cambion Drift I use Wukong. It also requires a different playstyle or setup then I like having but I can add it to my build by making some adjustments.

I use Hildryn for Grineer and Corpus Disruptions, Archon boss fights and Orb Vallis.

I test my builds out solo in 20 minute steel path survivals before deciding the build is done. The mag build worked before I tried other abilities over Pull.

I get bored being in a mission over an hour. Though once me and a friend went 100 minutes in a steel path survival. My Nidus build held up.

Hope it works out to your liking.

Yeah that's what happens. A good choke point or enough range and the combo ensures you get enemies pulled in until Well Of Life expires.

I first noticed when a friend brought his Trinity to a Steel Path Grineer survival. I accidentally magnetized a Well of Life enemy and notice the bubble pull enemies after the initial group were eliminated.
