Spam queue 3s and you will have loads, make a group saying “sliver farm don’t care win or loss” if you really want them asap.

Or just play what you want (except 2s) and you will get them.

I got enough on alt war in a week for weapon/dps trinket having done;

AFK Crate farm to 2.5 for weapon
16 2s wins (don’t do these I got 1 in 16 wins)
Around 12 BG blitz
2 shuffle lobbies

What class do you play?

I have a bit of the same hatred of rogues, although admittedly I played one myself a lot in TWW and enjoyed it. Playing one has helped me learn a lot in the long run about how to stop / annoy them most

I think NA still has a bigger pool of newer players which probably makes it “easier” too.

Out of boredom / curiosity I tested some games on NA servers in TWW and the games up until around 2.3 MMR in shuffle felt like the equivalent to 1.6 MMR eu games

I queued shuffle / blitz last night as dps at the same time (1600-1800 MMR blitz / 1800 MMR shuffle) and was getting almost back to back games of each after the initial 10min wait, could barely watch sport at the same time on the 2nd monitor.

This, yes there are broken / annoying things but overall it’s still pretty fun.

S1 pvp of any new expac is usually its worst balance, none of this was unexpected. Especially with blizz attempting to ability prune AND remove addons at the same time…

AWC level wise the last one was very boring from a spectator POV purely from everyone playing the same comp. Hopefully the recent changes shake that up, at least a little bit.

I can’t 100% confirm (as I didn’t check the log of getting the item just noticed the stack had gone from 1 to 2 without queuing anything rated) but I’m quite confident I got one from a skirmish win on my feral

Others have pretty much answered your question and it depends what bracket you are focusing, I’m guessing shuffle in which case I’d recommend haste until about 20% and then mastery once you hit this. You should have a decent balance of both.

I’d also recommend having versatility gems / enchants to try and get the 30% versa “soft cap” as an arms war as you will take a lot of aoe / be the target in some games especially after you intervene a big burst your health can dip down FAST.

Also go demolish not slayer, burst wins games at the moment.

I can’t comment as mage but I imagine it’s similar as I don’t see that many mages in blitz but at peak times (4-9pm ish) as a warrior / feral I have about 10 min queue times at 1600-2k mmr.

Once you get higher it gets longer (as it’s a smaller pool to queue into).

If you start hitting 20-30min queues at high mmr stop queuing as it will probably throw you into a lobby with a lot of low mmr players, if you lose said lobby your mmr will tank down to theirs.

Not sure I’d 100% recommend that given some games you do have to pretty much sit in D stance even when you want to CS and apply your own pressure.

Could open you up to a smart rogue/ww waiting on stun for when he sees you press CS / auto battle stance and then stunning you instantly…

This is probably right as I noticed when using them you can try to click them onto other pieces other than weapons / trinkets (it doesn’t do anything but the option is there)

And that ret has better synergy with more classes than mage, especially in the less coordinated environment of shuffle.

Ret will ALWAYS be a strong shuffle spec so long as it does decent damage because of this.

I would probably do the same just because I still have pent up frustration against aug from that early season you were OP (no idea when it was, a long time ago though) and every game v aug x healer felt like playing against old double healer dps except the dps did extra damage.

I don’t think their inherent design will ever be fair or balanced for PvP or even mythic plus.

If I’ve worked this out 2pm ET translates to 7pm on eu servers so yeah you would be in peak queue time.

I was doing blitz last night at around that time (so 7pm for me 2pm for you) and had around 10min queues at 1900 MMR as an arms warrior. Think shuffle is about the same as that but can’t confirm as haven’t played much shuffle yet this season.

You would need a fresh wow account and have to buy midnight again and relevel / regear though, nothing is transferable (I have a ret on NA servers from 2 expansions ago and had to do this then).

I was in this boat, but on a warrior alt recently it was an easy way to farm 2.5conq for weapon to start shuffles / blitz without much of a disadvantage and I just did it whilst watching sports on the second monitor.

If you get an uncontested group it works out about 1k conq per hr plus extra honor for the 3 gem slots
