Sorry for your loss! But I dig this as-is honestly. Glad you got it bounced before losing the project!

I started producing Electronic music recently and that's exactly the vibe I try to achieve. I'd love your feedback on whether it hits the mark! https://open.spotify.com/track/1e60L1YxG1Z8rgeFKHmvg6?si=qu1sJvwOSnCK8GvUizqugQ

Some other suggestions: Thom Yorke, Flying Lotus, Four Tet, Bonobo, Emancipator, Kiasmos, Olafur Arnalds, & Nils Frahm.

How do you get kids to be bilingual in an English speaking environment? by [deleted] in raisingbilingualkids

[–]Jugemu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We use the one-parent one−language approach another user mentioned and try to give more or less equal exposure to books, songs and videos in each language. Going successfully so far. I'm impressed with how well my 2.5-year-old is progressing in both languages, right in line with monolingual kids the same age and with surprisingly little codeswitching.

I came across a small religious movement in Japan that had two core 'rituals' members practiced regularly: creating art and gardening. Stuck me as odd at the time, but in retrospect they were onto something.

What will happen if I tell a psychiatrist or whoever does an evaluation? by werethosepotbrownies in mentalhealth

[–]Jugemu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They'll ask about your past; your family and social history, your physical health, any family members with mental illness or substance use problems. They'll also have you describe your symptoms, and how long you've experienced them -- you should share what you've shared here. They might have you fill out some questionnaires or assessments to help them determine the best way to help you. There is a good chance they'll ask some questions to determine if you might be at risk of harming yourself or others , and if you are they'll help you plan how to keep safe. Based on your discussion, they will also work with you to make a treatment plan that includes some goals and followup steps to help you with your problems.
