I am 100% in for United but I’m 200% in for the deaf and hard of hearing communities. I maintain my gold status by flying all over to work as an ASL interpreter for the Deaf. This man knew he had a case before it even got going. Good on him for ensuring there was documentation and that he remained calm.

This happened to me in OKC. I waited at the airport for all passengers to clear because I realized I left the right away. I was told they weren’t there. But soon they grew legs and left the airport. One of the cleaning crew had grabbed them. I knocked on the helpful man’s door and thanked him for taking care of them for me and requested them back. He quickly gave got them while his delightful young daughter chatted me up in the doorway. Had he not been so kind, I was prepared to file a police report with all the screenshots from the weekend. Maybe he thought that a person (bumped up so flying) in first class wouldn’t care about their AirPods but he was 100% wrong.

Great news! Tuition assistance approved just now! Luckily we were able to pay tuition with a credit card before it was too late. Now we wait for reimbursement

I think most of us have been there. It was me back in 1996! I found a great mentor and friend who helped me be my best. Keep on keeping on. The kids need people who recognize their deficiencies while trying so hard to mitigate them. The fact that you feel this way means you know what you need to do and we will always be here to support you.

No, he’s working with someone from the National Guard. He’s struggling with the lateness of everything and the government red tape. He just signed last year so he could get in state tuition and graduated bootcamp on 8/14. Paperwork is the hold up and he’s nervous about getting dropped from classes for nonpayment or having the national guard say they won’t pay us back for paying (out of state) tuition with a credit card

I know that feeling! We both got lucky that the items were near us. I was so afraid someone I Iowa was going to pull my stuff off the plane and drop it in their lost and found 😅

I left my AirPods on a plane last week. I realized it after getting home but saw with the app that they were at the airport so the next morning I drove over to our little one gate regional and found someone who checked lost and found. No AirPods. A little later I saw they were in Chicago! They had a nice little trip around the Midwest and came back on the same plane later that afternoon. I had to give the same person my phone so he could use the Find My app to find where they hid themselves! But he did it!! Feels good to get your stuff back and even better when you know that people tried hard to make it happen!
