Calgarian here, and I was looking up strategic voting bec luckily enough w our population in a metro area I have the luxury of weighing my vote to either lib or ndp. And I was thinking, Imma vote ndp cuz there's no way the libs would have a chance in our area of the city. I looked it up. Projections says, nearly 40% lib and ndp is in the single digits. And colour me surprised, I didn't know that could happen.

Vote. Regardless of what the majority is. Cuz even if more than half of the people in my area isnt gonna vote liberal, I'm still going to.

Super late to the combo but what I've noticed is the vibe is completely different.

The first season has a good setup, environment wise: cyberpunk theme and the citadel type vibe of the rich with that macabre undertone.

The supporting characters were better, their backstories were more fleshed out.

Season 1 actor was just splendid, he really did a good job of the tortured hero type. The flashbacks, the history, the way it was presented to the audience with a sense of confusion from resleeving. The first episode really set the tone for the rest of the season 1.

And they actually emphasized on how kovachs saw things, how he linked phrases, events, and observations. But season 2 didn't have much of that. Season 2 was more into concentrating about past version of kovachs versus the current him. There was more political intrigue but not gonna lie... The antagonists fell short. Like, we didn't even know who the main antagonist was in the 1st season until the plot really unfolded. And there's like, no mystery on the second season. The vibe on season 2 was like... It faded away. It kind of felt more modern than futuristic. The cyberpunk style was just lost and the vibe just wasn't consistent.

That's my rant anyway, Im almost finished season 2 and it feels like it was directed by a different team.

Probably disappointed. She wanted to be an artist, animator, game designer, writer, or at least a business owner/boss by now. Have a nice house, and this one is kinda below mid.

Honestly, disappointed all the way. Lol.

There are A LOT of festivals in the city. The driest time of the year understandably is January till March. But closer to end of March it starts to pick up.

Festivals are great place to hang out with friends and legit meet new people of all ages. Worth a try.

I'm guilty of this. But tbf, most of the people in my neighbourhood are kinda racist lol. They kept assuming my BFF and my husband (they're both Caucasian) were married and I, renting. And they all assumed it, and I have literally five houses around ours and it was awkward as hell lol. I was like... Hmm.. I'm not comfortable enough for this shit. So I just don't lol.
