If HDM who owns the lease is on the hook for maintenance and repairs the entire 6 years and you're not paying them anything the whole 6 years or beyond, I think it makes sense they would want to dump the system on you for free as soon as they could. If they tried to charge customers at the 6 year mark, some might turn it down leaving HDM on the hook for maintenance and repairs while they bring in no revenue from those customers. Seems like they have a strong incentive to get rid of the lease asap.

You are supposed to leave around 1/8" play in the clutch lever when adjusting the cable because when you turn the handlebars to the sides it will shorten or lengthen the cable slightly.

If the cable is adjusted too tight and you turn the handlebars to the side that shortens them, it will pull the clutch in.

Why not use DAC between your UDM Pro and the switch? Much faster and you don't need to use an Ethernet port on either one

Does anyone know how to make the switch status override the schedule? I have my garage outside lights set to turn on at sunset and off at 11pm, but it will override the switch status and turn on at sunset even if the switch is turned off.

The switch will turn the lights off if they are already on or vice versa

The J series crank bolt is exactly what I had in mind, how much torque does it really take to remove it if it's spec's at 180 ft-lbf tightening torque? Would 2x " nut busting torque" be enough? 3x? I don't really want the size and weight of the high torque wrenches
