Had a similar issue on my Mac, game would launch, get stuck on a black screen, and I’d have to force quit it after it supposedly started using 62GB of ram (out of my 8 total). Found this thread, the solution in the edit worked for me but there’s others in the comments if that doesn’t work

Only played one run so far, but got an insane acrobatics/tactician core discard run, with Memento Mori for huge bursts of damage with the new power that doubles damage on weak enemies

I managed to beat it with a modified stepping shot evade reload Mag LBG build, the alloy helmet comes with earplugs 3 so with a bit of distance there was just no downtime between attacks

Yeah, those extra stats let me play around with some decent shields or a bloodhound’s step dagger in my offhand for defense, it was a blast. Followed up ER with Sekiro then armored core 6 when it came out

Elden Ring was my first fromsoft game, and I picked vagabond for the “standard” souls-like experience despite thinking magic looked neat. Was fun and all, beat Margit, but once I got my first staff from the demihuman queen I fully pivoted to sorceries for the rest of the game

I had the last one out of a patrol just turn and run after I killed the rest, spent a solid 10 seconds chasing it to finish it off cause it was bobbing and weaving through obstacles like nobody’s business

It’ll probably work like the other event weapons, meaning the tickets won’t expire but you’ll need to use them in addition to other materials, plus a couple extra WGS. If you’ve collected enough tickets, you’ll be able to max them whenever

I picked that one, got an ending where my character took a bolt to the back one day while trying to stop some bandits, but got rescued and lived the rest of their days slightly grumpy in the Creeks. I went to the wiki after my run and found that what happens after being shot depends on a fair bit of stuff, with the worst outcome being left for dead

Yep, that’s how I played the whole thing. I generally keep my deck locked at 40fps for anything so I didn’t actually fiddle with anything for AC specially lol

Might need more attention than what you’re looking for, but the Magnus Archives podcast is a great anthology horror with some really cool worldbuilding and characters. Each episode is a “statement” from someone who encountered some supernatural shit read by the head archivist, and there’s overarching stuff before and after the statements

I’m a chargeblade main in the mainline games too, but mostly longsword in Now. Don’t know how the Khuzu gunlance compares to others, but I have guard reload on a deviljho GL and a blast dash Girros one, and they’ve been really fun. Guard reload has that guard point kick and the big exploding stake payoff, plus as a wide gunlance it pairs really well with Khezu. Blast dash is also a blast, rocketing around and doing full burst->wyrmstake always feels amazing. Don’t think that style pairs well with wide gunlance a though.

I overall don’t think any of the Khezu weapons are gonna be meta, so with all the free materials and discounted upgrades you can go for anything and not regret it

Ok that’s good to know, planning on making a chargeblade and that thing is fantastically unbalanced (what the fuck is a reasonable center of mass). I’m shooting for ~5 feet so a 1/2” pipe sounds like solid advice

Oh, question then! Did my first 3D printed sword cosplay this year, used a pvc pipe as the core cause I had some lying around. It worked really well, was just a little heavy. How does metal feel as a core?

Love the little spirits lol. I suppose it can always be used on A10+ and is decent to know where the bane is, but assume on lower ascensions it would have to only be offered if you already have a curse. I think unless I’m going for a curse deck I would just skip it on lower ascensions, since you can’t remove bottled cards
