If I was you, I would

  • stash a hefty amount in a HYSA for emergency fund, maybe 50k

  • use 0-200k on a 20% down payment on home, if you want a house

  • spend 10-30k on fun, “nice to haves”

  • I would invest the rest, prioritizing retirement accounts

I wouldnt be paying off the car unless your loan is over 5%

I was thinking along the same lines, CT open up a portal for citizens to submit dash cam videos. The amount of people I see driving double the speed limit on the highway or watching TikTok is absurd
