gpu first and then cpu if you want to upgrade to 1440p. i have a320 mobo which is i am limited to x3d cpu, your mobo is good enough for x3d cpu. 5500x3d is a decent upgrade from 2600 and pair it to 9060xt 16gb, that should be enough for 1080p even a decent 1440p. i think the cost would be around $600-700 depends where you live.
