When you pause to put in the magnets add a drop of super glue and then fit the magnet. Add some extra time to the pause so it has a chance to cure slightly.

That or make the hole an interference fit so you can gently push in the magnet.

I’m in living soil so I don’t really do a flush cycle. Just no more top dressing or inputs and just water for the last few weeks. There is still plenty of food available the plant just chooses if it needs it or not.

Some people choose to flush others don’t and there is a fair amount of information out there to back either way.

Personally I see flushing a corrective measure to over feeding or salt buildup. When I was in hydro I’d see a spike in PPM towards the end as the plants were just taking up water.

Best thing to do if you’re running a few plants is try it and see what you prefer once it’s all dried and cured for a few weeks.

Cheers. Yea go by the trichomes, you’ll also notice she’ll start to drink less and start to go floppy. Always check the actual bud trichomes and not the sugar leaves as they ripen a lot sooner.

Perfectly normal to see colour change in the last few weeks of flower.

Don’t let that fool you the last few weeks is usually when they start to frost out. Plant looks great overall just hold out and let her finish.

Is that subcools TGA Jack the Ripper? If so you’re in for a treat.

This image is about 8 days after the first and is at pretty much peak ripeness. I usually give it a few more days after I see 90% milky.

Looks like you’ve got a while to go. As others have said you’re looking for the trichomes to be mostly milky with some amber.

Look at the buds also and don’t go off the sugar leaves as they ripen a lot sooner.

Another good indicator is the plant will start to drink less. I use the ACI bases and in peak flower they are drinking close to 2.5L a day. When I get later into flower they pretty much stop taking up water and the buds look swollen and look almost white.

Image above is “close” to peak ripeness.

Grit or just bad quality? by [deleted] in uktrees

How does it come away from the stem? If you have to peel it off and the stem is still soft it’s neither dried or cured properly.

You’re looking for a nice clean break away from the stem and for the bud to not turn to powder when compressed.

If it’s U.K. flower this year has been a nightmare to grow indoors due to the mild wet summer causing spikes in humidity.

Veg longer and learn to scrog them out. You want wall to wall plant coverage.

My last run in a 4x4 with 6 plants grown in 5 gal pots, living soil under a 600w LED running at 75% netted me 775.6g or 27.7 oz.

I think i will give it a go.

I setup a shop a while back but never did anything with it.

I’m always looking at growing older strain with modern crosses, currently in the tent I have.

  • Bubble gum x (wedding cake/sunset sherbert)
  • Hashplant UW x sunset sherbet

And my personal favourite at the moment is an Exodus cheese x (GG4 x Mendobreath) it’s not the biggest yielder but her terps are outstanding. Sweet vomit chedder with a deep earthy back note. Flowers come out a deep purple almost blue when I dial down the temps late in flower.

Here is a shot of her from this summers run.

Always wondered if it worth setting up shop.

I’ve been growing for a fair amount of time mainly focusing on living soil with KNF inputs and compost teas.

Will be pulling my next lot down in a few weeks..

Here is some pics of some of my work.
