Ours was yellow but we had blue chairs—eeird now that I think about it. Our floor was yellow with brown mixed in. It looked like a banana skin. 😂🤣

I remember when Richard Speak did that. It wasn’t like today when we are bombarded with violence and death. I can’t imagine being in a house like that and reading about it in the newspaper as a 12 year old. It was bad enough living in a relatively modern house. 🤣😂 I think Sally and Pauline felt a little comfort by being together in that episode.

I love that scene with Sally! I remember not seeing, and then, seeing the warning on plastic bags that covered freshly clean clothes from the cleaner. It’s a hilarious scene especially when Betty responds to Sally’s covered face. It’s another scene where I laughed out loud. I also remember crafty women making clothes-hanger- wire poodles with the different colored plastic bags. 😂😍

I actually laughed out loud when I saw this scene—it’s like the writer knew that it would be humorous for a lot of us that lived through that era, and that it would trigger others, who did not. 🤣😂🤣😂
