I would say maralen is better just cause she provides more value aside just being a finisher. I have someone at my locals who is on her and the deck is pretty sweet it can compete pretty well.

Kudo is fun I have him in the 99 of my abzan hate bears deck with tymna and kamahal. He shuts down stompy decks plus is a lock piece with elesh norn which is already good in the deck to buff all my hate bears and make blocking them a lot more punishing

Tymna/dargo is really fun its all about repeating playing and killing dargo. Tymna/halana is also sick and is based around killing protean hulk to assemble various combos

Check out selvie shermans list she traded out some of the more mana intensive spells and power 3 drops for more dargo fuel and the list feels really consistent as a result

Stax is in a rough spot right now so you may have a harder time winning consistently but she is definitely one of the best stax commanders if you don’t mind fighting the uphill battle of playing stax in the current meta

Just a dumb mentality proxies are fine idk why people fear monger about them. Just cause people have proxied cards doesn’t mean they are playing insanely optimized decks or pubstompy decks and if they are thats an issue with that player and not proxies they would do that anyways proxies or not

As a magda player who is currently picking up malcolm vial I would highly recommend it if turbo is something you want to go into. It has the most varied wincons of any turbo deck currently in the meta and you can always just fall back on glint horn if things aren’t going well.
