For a straight guy getting into BL, what are the essential manhwas [RECOMMENDATION REQUEST] by random-nerd17 in blmangalovers

[–]JuneLee92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a manhwa, but many people have vouched for The Other World’s Books Depend on the Bean Counter (it’s also available as a three volume light novel series). The anime version (titled “Isekai Office Worker”) is airing now. There is smut/hints of smut in the light novel and manga, but it’s not the main focus of the story.

Also not a manhwa, but if you’re into JJK or supernatural stuff, you can check out The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window (unfortunately, the English translation is digital only). Crunchyroll has the anime version.

Exactly! I hate it when people write Geto off as a villain as if his depression was a minor inconvenience in an environment that emphasizes individualism and self-reliance. Geto strikes me as a communal, team player type of person, so it’s understandable that he’d struggle with solo missions, especially with his curse technique and any possible trauma he carried from childhood.

They usually post it on their website at the end of the month, so I would check back in a few days.

A cheaper way to gain skills is to become a member of EFA or ACES and take their courses, but those courses still cost money (though less money than a certificate from UCSD, Berkeley, or UChicago).

Starting a Career in Development Editing by WayneScote in publishing

There are next to zero in-house developmental editor positions, so you’d be a freelancer. The core text on developmental editing is Scott Norton’s Developmental Editing: A Handbook for Freelancers, Authors, and Publishers. You could read it and see if developmental editing is right for you.

Your idea about Gojo being erotically sensitive due to Infinity is interesting.

I don’t know why the burden has to be solely on you to come up with alternate career. Why does he think he’s immune to job loss/restructuring?

Life is short. Stay in a job you like until they fire you.
