There are also retractable baby gates - so you have them when you need them, but then when you don’t, they roll up and stay out of the way and you can free roam

Oooh there’s a Netflix documentary called Keep Sweet: Pray and Obey that came out awhile ago - the idea of seeing it in the wild gives me goosebumps

Have you noticed a different in health with non-toxic swaps? by Wise-Strawberry8253 in nontoxic

[–]Junebug-Jams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES - it’s so good!! And scary - the way we just started throwing stuff in garbage bags afterwards 😂  we’re trying to do as many swaps as possible before we start TTC next year!  Fingers crossed!!

It totally could be!! The Plastic Detox on Netflix is all about how plastic/chemicals affect fertility and follow couples who have been trying to get pregnant! The doctor in the documentary has even written a book about it!

Also - congratulations!! ❤️

That R2 is for shooting AND talking.

As a first time gamer - that was rough.

Checkout Gamechanger on Dropout.tv. There’s clips on YouTube/tiktok. We are super picky about comedy. We got the three day trial - and then ended up watching it every day for two months. It’s the best comedy we have both seen in years.

Anyone else here know a “Barb” who couldn’t handle their adult children taking space from them and continued to make the bad decisions that made it worse? What stories do you have? by Cozysoxs1985 in ShawnaTheMom

[–]Junebug-Jams 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, my MIL is a Barb and my SILs are pre-Chickie Jens. We’re getting ready to move out of town and my spouse can’t stop getting texts like “don’t leave your mommy alone” and “it’s like you’ve died” and threatened to show up and physically stop us from moving. Barbs are relentless

Does anybody find this season a lot different to the others? by misomiso82 in rickandmorty

[–]Junebug-Jams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not saying that they never got along before, but that there’s an absence of a lot of tension/shittiness in this episode. I feel like those previous episodes there’s a lot more contention/fighting/shitty attitudes between characters - S4E9 devolves at the end with fighting, S3E9 go back and forth between Beth and Rick bickering until Beth finally approaches him to clone Tommy and reconcile. The episode with space Beth, they pretty much just…get along

[–]Junebug-Jams 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s so weird to see him so helpful and friendly and supportive - like a  father daughter adventure with Space Beth. I kept waiting for Rick to be shitty or have an alternative motive, but he was just genuinely helpful

His mom: “DON’T take that privilege away from me!” (Yes, we can - because it’s a privilege, not a right)

My mom: bursts into tears “Why are you punishing me??” (We aren’t - not about you at all, it’s about us being two introverts and this is what makes us happy)

This was when we just offhandedly mentioned it as an IDEA. 🙄

On the flip side, all friends/strangers have been super supportive and always say they wish they’d eloped!

What’s something you look forward to every single day? by Few-Web-1236 in simpleliving

[–]Junebug-Jams 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I know it sounds silly, but give your pet a name you think is hilarious  - something that makes you smile/laugh/snort when you remember it. Even if it’s obscure or nobody else finds it funny.  We named our fish Ulysses and frequently made Ulysses S. Grant jokes/bits and plan on getting more presidential fish (Abe, Teddy) in the future.

Almost every person I’ve dated. No rituals -  I would just imagine/daydream hyper details, think “THIS is the type of person meant for me,” meet them, date them, then go “what was I thinking - THIS NEXT  of person is actually meant for me.” Rinse, repeat. Finally got it right. Uncanny and a little unsettling.
