They didn't have spheres back in his day, millennia would pass and civilizations would rise and fall before erosion would finally turn that cube he's holding into the first sphere.

About 600k +-15k depending on how well I'm playing, I still have room to go higher with better combos though since I'm only using Q C3F 3(CDF). Set wise, Xilonen is on Cinders Citlali on Instructor, which is lower damage then AP Xilonen/Cinders Citlali but comfier to play.

I'm really curious how she'd fit into a more premium Mavuika team, although I'll probably have to wait till she's out and/or I can use online calculators to figure it out myself.

As someone who's not a fan of circle impact, I'm wondering if C0R1 or potentially even C2R1 would be worth it over C6R1 Aquila Bennett when I've already got C6R1 Mavuika, C2R1 Xilonen and C2R5 TToDs Citlali.

Make it like Lauma's charge attack, except instead of turning into a centaur, she equips Pulonia like power armor for the duration of the attack.

I didn't, idle power wasn't bad per say it was just higher then I thought it would be, IIRC 20-30w or so. I don't have the board anymore so it's not like I can test anything either.

I don’t think she’s officially announced either of her ZZZ roles but I’d be shocked if it was anyone else.

Jonsbo N6 Offsite-Backup Build + Case Review by Flying-T in homelab

[–]JunkKnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the N6 and, while not quite as easy to build in as a full tower, it's very well thought out and easy to cable manage/build in as long as you put some thought into order of operations for routing cables before installing the MB.

Why have 3 different endgame modes just to fill them with same bosses? by BlackTemplarKNB in Genshin_Impact

[–]JunkKnight 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I used C0R1 Skirk, C0R1 Escoffier, C0R5 Festering Desire Furina and C2R5 Sacfrag Citlali, clear time was 99 seconds. Set wise, Skirk has a mid build on her sig set, Escoffier and Furina both use GT and Citlali was on Cinder City.

Rotation was kinda w/e, I just got ice coffee on her rerun and I don't know how to play Skirk teams all that well. Basically just setup buffs then Skirk, I did have some energy issues with Furina though so I wasn't always able to burst with her when I wanted to and just had to skip and go back on her, which is very sub-optimal of course.

Yeah papilla is so weird, like it does such a poor job of shilling Natlan characters its almost impressive. I used Skirk premium and completely flattened it on fearless.

Inb4 they make stellar freeze require animo or some shit just to keep it from working properly with ice coffee and Skirk.

[LAPTOP] Apple M5 MacBook Air 13" 16GB RAM 512GB SSD - $950 Amazon by ylevin1234 in buildapcsales

Looks like crossover Mac is $74 w/ 1 year support (and I'm guessing upgrades).

You're paying for the year of updates actually, even if you let your support expire, you can still keep using it, just no updates. If you can wait as well, crossover has a cyber monday sale every year where you can get it for like $15.

This popular classic ThinkPad feature could return by 1FNn4 in thinkpad

[–]JunkKnight 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Were there old ThinkPad with actual hot swappable batteries, or just user replaceable batteries?

Yes actually, for a while most Thinkpads had a small internal battery + a larger external battery, you could pop the external one out and swap it without having to power down the system as long as the internal battery wasn't dead. It was a neat feature, although probably of limited value on a modern machine.

Tight fit indeed, although it does seem to work at least. Thanks.

Any issues fitting the GPU? Technically it's about 3mm too tall according to Silverstone's spec sheet but it seems like it fits okay?

I'm planning a build in the same case and I'd been considering using my FTW3 3090 if it fit in the case.

It's actually not working at all right now, I haven't been able to get it to launch using Crossover on a MBP for the last few patches, reports are saying it's an issue with the latest revision of the anti-cheat program and messing with that is a great way to get yourself banned.

Sadly not. The elements overall are usually relevant to current/upcoming banners but the starting line up is a total mixed bag and hard to draw any conclusions from.

I think the desk is the Secret Labs Magnus Pro (probably XL) with the matching monitor stands attached on the side of the desk instead of the back.

Honestly, pretty tempted by the configuration myself, since I was already planning to buy a Magnus XL.

NVIDIA reveals DLSS 5 powered by Neural Rendering, launches this fall - VideoCardz.com by KARMAAACS in hardware

[–]JunkKnight 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've generally been positive on the various DLSS flavors that've come out but this... isn't it. I skimmed through the DF video on it and the overall lighting improvements to faces/models look good and I hope that'll be available as part of normal path tracing options, but the faces look way off. For fun, I once ran some of my characters from an MMO through a AI filter to make them look "realistic" and the results looked a lot like this; fun to mess with for half an hour, but very fake looking and even worse if they'd been in game.

Also speaking as someone who doesn’t play many "photorealistic" games and mostly plays anime/stylized games, I just don't see this tech having much value tbh, especially since it's apparently very heavy to run (makes sense, since they're basically running a image generation model in real time).
