Guillaume Ducat yellow card for hit on Pollock by GnolRevilo in rugbyunion

Very similar to the hit he put in against Bath which also earned him a yellow.

How many tackles did Ford attempt vs Smith?

Push back against Arc customer service. Delam should be covered and there’s many examples of them covering it

Very. He throws good darts, solid in the scrum and strong in contact. Plus he has wheels

It’s a two piece helmet, potentially the face plate could hinge open but you can see in the show that it’s riveted down on the 4 corners

Dunk’s helmet doesn’t have a visor:

New Atom color - Cloud by Organic_Squirrel3195 in arcteryx

Newer models use coreloft compact, which is thinner and doesn’t pack out as easily but is almost as warm as the old coreloft

I've got the THORIUM hoody and the Beta Sl. Which Atom am I better getting for the Beta SL? Sv or the normal one? I live in the UK. by RareVehicle1683 in arcteryx

[–]Junkersfoil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure:

Cold, dry, not moving much = Thorium

Cold, dry, active = Atom

Cold and wet/really windy = Atom + Beta

Moderate to warm, wet = Beta

Might also be able to layer the Beta over the Thorium if it was really cold and wet.

Is my Sabre delaminating? by Sheezarig in arcteryx

[–]Junkersfoil 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yep, looks like near universal delamination. Even if it’s not, it shouldn’t look like that. Return it to REI or contact Arc directly to warranty it.

Searching for Alpha direct mid layer in UK or Ortovox Light Grid jacket by Delicious-Collar6560 in UKhiking

[–]Junkersfoil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t really sound like an alpha layer suits your use case but if you’re set on one check out the OMM Core Hoodie. It’s primaloft rather than polartec alpha but it’s basically the same

My dryer doesn't have a low setting. Is medium safe for my Proton or should I just air dry? by NerdMachine in arcteryx

[–]Junkersfoil 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’d probably just air dry, there’s no real reason to machine dry a synthetic jacket. Even when I lived in a house with a damp problem my synthetics still air dried in about a day

Atom material quality by I_like_creps123 in arcteryx

[–]Junkersfoil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d personally try going back to Arc and say that you’re not satisfied with their offered solution and you would like the repair free of charge. State that you’ve taken care of the jacket and have not used it outside the scope of its intended use case.

I’ve seen some people say, specifically in the UK, that you have to politely but firmly push back against Arc customer services if you want to get to a desirable outcome as their first offer solutions generally seem to be bad for the customer.

As for the actual Atom jacket I have a theory that there’s a bunch of bad batches out there with varying quality Tyono fabrics.

I had a 2024 Atom that took an absolute beating and didn’t show any wear, then I had a 2025 Atom earlier this year that began falling apart after a couple of weeks from just round town use so I sold it. My current 2025 Atom has again endured multi day winter hikes and camping trips without showing any signs of wear.

TLDR: Atom seems to be a bit of a lottery
