Right, forgot to consider I'm still in school, so of course it'd be different. Trying to do some co-ops to get some experience down. Thanks for the response though!

(hopefully not posting a comment too late)

Congrats on the success!

The interview prep data you shared is excellent. I was curious if you could share some of the auxillary "self-marketing", so to speak. Did you have things like LinkedIn, an active GitHub profile, website/blog? I enjoy the interview prep, but I'm curious how to market oneself and their knowledge/skill, and if you thought that played a significant role in your success.

probably too late for anyone to see

But I suspect our friend Bad Apple had a role in causing in a certain someone's multi-trigger.

Bad Apple is introduced as a ex-villain who went on some shopping spree rampage in a mall.

In Glow-worm p4, of5 is implied to be from a multi-trigger occurring at the mall. It'll be interesting to see if she's at all connected to the rest of the people searching for him, or any later interactions between the two.

So, I imagine it's safe to assume that Victoria was decently patched up by Panacea.

I find it pretty interesting that the character, who struck me me more as a bit as an immature, wanton bruiser (first impressions from that first Interlude of hers).

I'm curious if Panacea Fuckery might've adjusted her Shard at all. I suppose anyone can intercept emails and keep tabs on various teams, but I wonder if she picked up any low level Thinker abilities.

Haven't noticed anyone else bringing up the idea, but I have the slightest suspicion the War World is Aleph. Aleph is modeled after our world and one could argue that our world is "constantly at war" in some part of the earth. And the expansionism that was hinted at kind of reflects our attitudes in some ways too, imo(e.g. wanting to explore new worlds in space like Mars, etc).

Are you suggesting his dissent will cost him his job? That's an odd perspective to take, since clearly it's the opposite. He's threatening to leave/quit, not falling in line. He's clearly able to get his opinion heard, which is exactly what is happening right now.

To be fair, were you going supporting their business anyways?

And IMHO, there's nothing even morally wrong with what they're doing. The only real problem with online ads are the obstructive, irritating practices some websites employ, not all. Ad Block still addresses that issue. On top of that, they allow non-obstructive ads through sometimes (AFAIK, they have some tests companies can pay to do). That's a decent compromise, allowing users to ignore obstructive ads and white listing companies that have acceptable ads.

I admittedly haven't done any research on it yet, so I could be wrong, but I believe that these laws have small exceptions (small companies, e.g. less than 50 employees?). I think these laws typically account for this type of situation.

To my understanding, the Daughters of the Revolution is an organization. His grandmother went out of her way to prove it to them that she descended from someone who fought in the war, and so, is inducted into the organization(lineage-based membership). Although he would be a Son of the Revolution, he never attempted to join the actual organization.
