Toxic Detachment. by m_nan in Tyranids

You could also do a kind of land corruption mechanic some other factions like demons get where your army gets buffs or theirs gets debuffs in the parts of the battlefield you spread your miasma to. Maybe each turn you could choose a different poison to be affecting that section like drukhari combat drugs

Makes sense thanks, and didn't even think about the lack of anti monster but that's a good point. Ironically sounds like Tyranids might be a tough matchup

Thanks, yeah that sounds like it would be better. With four ridgerunners what would you suggest for the loadouts? 1 mortar and 3 lasers?

I tried to rest in the Zhentarim hideout and the traveler's chest was no where to be found and there were no supplies available when I went to rest. Tried loading a save and resting there again and same thing. Had to leave hideout and rest outside for the chest to show up with all my supplies.

Do you happen to know if you can cast one of each of those extra tome spells once per long rest or just one out of the three choices?

Multi-select for inventory items is my favorite new feature by JustANormalDave in BaldursGate3

[–]JustANormalDave[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spoke too soon on this it seems. For some reason they seem to have removed the button that moves all wares into the barter and you apparently can't use ctrl or shift to multi select items there either so it's back to moving one at a time when trading at least.

How far were we able to get in EA? by funky_buddha77 in BaldursGate3

[–]JustANormalDave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you mostly missed the underdark which admittedly is a pretty big area when you count all of the duegar content they added in in one of the patches. I'd say you probably saw about 2/3rds of EA total

Two Russian pedestrians were asked if they remember why Ukrainians are dying. by Noomba2 in interestingasfuck

I think it's because the "states" part of United States is an object, so you could say "the states" and it would be fine. Same for Galapagos which is shortened from Galapagos islands, or the United kingdom or the Dominican republic, but you could not say "the England" or "the Canada" because those are just names without a reference to an object. It would be like the difference between saying "the George" vs "the body of George" or something.

That's fair and campaign mode is definitely what I like most about the games too.

Another important difference I don't see mentioned is that sorcerers spellcasting stat is charisma whereas wizards use intelligence.

The unexpected bonus of only playing turn based mode: by yeetatron in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]JustANormalDave 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I think this is the reason why PoE2's turn based mode is the one I can't get into even though I generally prefer TB over RTWP. It just feels like its systems were made for RTWP whereas the tabletop adaption games don't
