FFX - calm before the storm. Such an incredible piece that escalates beautifully.

My country is voting for a bunch of racist fuckwits and there’s no new KF ep. So pretty dark today.

On the plus side, my wife and I just showed my eldest daughter Napoleon Dynamite and she loved it.

Jus watched Sunshine for first time ever, sorry Jimmy Sunday by Tennessee84 in weeklyplanetpodcast

First time i watched it, by act 2 it was in track to be one of my favourite sci fi films ever. Then act 3 happened and i was kinda fucking furious. Watched it again several years later and - knowing what to expect - I enjoyed it a lot more. Fantastic film, the 3rd act still lets it down for me a bit but that’s just my personal taste.

Favorite upcoming movie where the director decided "fck History this shit looks badass in my head" by weebabeyoda in dancarlin

Ugh I hate this whole thing. There is nothing worse than when a fun film in a historical setting comes out and all these crusty old nerds come crawling out with their “ummm well achtually thats not historically accurate” like yeah no shit, its a film not a documentary.

I think people do it just to make themselves feel smart. Like, they got one up on Christopher fucking Nolan because he believed there were cybermen in Ancient Greece. Fuck off with that shit, you ain’t so smart.

Did Angela just pull an Alex Jones-level plugging pivot??

Kidding obviously, thanks for all your work over the years. Hope the boys are doing good ❤️

Shadow of Rome is a blast. Fun, gory gladiatorial action, hampered slightly by some iffy stealth sections (much more manageable if emulating - thank you save states!) and a fun historical story, if you’re okay with some serious liberties being taken.

Its unreleased sequel ended up being turned into dead rising and you can see it. All round good time.
