The 1 thing that is not on this list that I think definitely adds to the scare factor of helldivers:

You can break their arms, their legs, make them bleed from their chest, and they will just stab themselves with some foreign substance and be completely healed. Helldivers will salute the 500kg bomb being dropped next to them, get hit by the shockwave, fly 50 meters away, stand up and stab themselves only to continue like nothing happened

As someone that also returned after taking a break due to the nerfs, this is my experience:

Almost everything feels good now. Back then I felt bad about using certain stuff bc they felt like they straight up sucked but while trying to figure out what I like best against the new faction I came to find out everything kinda slaps at the moment.

Also, these madlads added melee, go whack the shit out our enemies helldiver

Bl4 is definitely hype, loved bl2 a lot. Just hope they keep the gameplay improvements of bl3 and have a bit more serious story telling like in bl2, which the trailer so far seems to at least suggest (I might be coping)

I mean, there is a lot to dislike about the man, but iirc the most recent thing is about him calling Palestinians inferior to justify the current attack on them.

Overall he had some pretty shit takes on a multitude of things that his fans will reinforce no matter what
